Enjoy good food, good coffee, good people. Serving freshly made breakfast, soup, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods, using local ingredients. Dig in...
Had been here a few times in the past (like several years ago) but obviously the cafe has been renovated etc...anyway...nice clean, bright space. Friendly and efficient staff and ordering process. Good menu and there's a chef there too, making things to order. There are some things like cheese scones and cakes etc...good menu and they had a daily soup which I didn't see and would have liked to have sampled...curry veg (vegan). Was really pleased to see vegan options too and I gather they are adding more...we enjoyed the egg, bacon and cheese taco with side of chips, and the vegan bean taco with side of slaw salad (you can pick your side)...also latte's with milk and soy. All were very tasty and good...tacos $11 for 2 plus a side....was very pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend and return again!

The Loose Caboose is a small, family run cafe, with a quirky, fun train decor, that features lovingly prepared and thoughtfully presented delicious dishes. This is a perfect place to stop and take a break from any drive -- it is on Young Road not far from the expressway passing through Chilliwack. It is a refreshing departure from all those awful, robotic chain or franchise restaurants in the vicinity. At the Loose Caboose you will find friendly, polite, attentive service and reasonable prices for dishes with a traditional Canadian or a subtle Asian influence -- your choice. I ordered the Korean Breakfast. I was simply stunned: It was outstanding. It included two poached eggs, perfectly cooked, whole grain toast, gorgeous Korean vegetable dumplings, two small, soft tortillas abundantly spilling over with premium bacon, fresh avocado, and asparagus. All this splendour under $10.00.

Always a favourite to get some good tasting sushi. Very inexpensive and always consistently good tasting. Ann is so nice and always remembers precisely what we want, as we enjoy mostly the same on every visit. A must if youâre over near their location.

I've been to this place a handful of times and it does have its issues- the hours are a little odd, staff isn't always incredibly friendly (but I've never found them to be outright rude), at the atmosphere is definitely lacking, but it comes through in the ways that are most important to me and that is that the food is good and affordable. You can get a good sized meal for two for less than $30 easily and it has always been really tasty. Especially when the only other Indian food place in Chilliwack (that I know of) is Shandhar Hut which I find to be overpriced. This is my go to place for Indian food.

We offer classic comfort food, alongside fresh, modern breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. We pride ourselves on sourcing our ingredients locally, and preparing all of our soups and sauces in house, using only naturally occurring materials. No margarine her
First time here and sadly, not impressed with the food or sound of music. Food I found, was very greasy. Not very comfortable seating and was too busy (good for them) but far too noisy and crowded. Now the music, was just not my taste. Such a small area for such loudly played music. Sorry, not a good first experence and nor will I be running back there. Should mention that service was fair to good...could have used another server or two. Food prices I found a bit high for my liking, but I guess that is the direction they are going, higher.

We met our good friends for lunch at the Curly Kale. We enjoyed our lunch and the company of our friends. The service and the atmosphere at the Curly Kale was excellent. Our friends enjoyed the Cuban sandwich, my wife had her favourite, the egg salad sandwich, and I had the duck confit burger. Not many places offer duck confit so I happily ordered it. Curly Kale also make bread and bakery items so each couple purchased a loaf of bread. Their potato and leek soup was delicious. They are usually busy at lunch so plan your arrival accordingly.

We drove out to Dickenâs, partly for the unique experience, but also because the Tea Room offers an extensive selection of dishes, including a good sized gluten free menu. All of the traditional British favourites can be found here. There are three different versions of the high tea. I had the middle one - called a Taste of Britain, I think, and it was very filling and delicious. Dessert was an Eccles Cake with the traditional Birdâs Custard sauce. Our server was delightful, and very attentive and knowledgeable. You will want to explore the museum after your meal. So much to see!

Intimate { only 28 seats ) casual shabby chic kind of diner/cafe
We stopped by for breakfast, as we had heard nothing but great things about this little restaurant. Very pleased. Service was fast and friendly. Very good presentation of out breakfast. Food was delivered by friendly chef. I've heard that service is very busy on weekends, so plan ahead. We will definitely dine here again.

Serving up good old fashioned home cooking with local farm to table ingredients. The Royal Hotel Café is known as one of the cityâs best values for hearty, healthy meals. Join us for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner and take a trip back to the roots of Chilliwa
Set in the Royal Hotel, this cafe is quite cozy and quaint. Our server was pleasant and friendly although she dropped the ball once or twice... we had to ask for more coffee. The quality of the food was above average... hamburgers, sandwiches, etc. Nothing fancy but good home cooking. Unfortunately, we were quite shocked at the final tab. It was more than we expected. Not in the stratospheric range of big city 5 star establishments, but this isn't that. With the low key and casual setting we were expecting a more modest bill. Hence, an average experience... 3 stars.

I have been going to the Little Beetle since it opened. The chicken coconut curry soup is their signature dish and it is amazing. This soup is what keeps bringing me back. I pair it with either the tuna sandwich or their amazing BBQ chicken wrap and you have an excellent lunch. They usually have a choice of 4 soups so I am sure that you will find one you like. They have an extensive list of sandwiches and panini as well. The staff is very friendly and attentive so you will enjoy your visit to the Little Beetle.Give it a try.
