Really good coffee, nice place to relax, nice cakes and sandwiches/rolls and v v good quiche and tarts. Nice people working here. They appreciate if you try and speak French and they will work out what you want with smiles and pointing with some french words thrown in!

We had a tasty Croque Monsieur at lunchtime. We sat outside and did not have to wait long before being served. Attentive staff and clean loos. Good atmosphere inside and very busy. Would definitely recommend for lunch or just a coffee.

For the last two years we have disembarked with our bikes at Roscoff and immediately cycled as fast as possible down the road to St Pol de Leon to what can only be described as our favourite coffee shop in Brittany - Des le Matin. Located on the town square, Des le Matin provides the most glorious cakes, pastries and coffee as well as lovely lunches. We have enjoyed everything from the not-so-humble croissant to the enormous, delicious, freshly prepared salads and we always make a beeline for this cafe as soon as we get anywhere near St Pol, whether this is on the way from or back to the ferry at Roscoff. Don't hang around in Roscoff - it is frankly a bit dismal and everywhere is usually closed when we get off the overnight ferry. In order to get pretty well anywhere from Roscoff, you're going to have to go through St Pol de Leon so you might as well treat yourself.

Such a lovely dpot for a relaxed lunch, overlooking Roscoff marina. Inside: space, lovely tables, chairs, decor, more space, plenty of light, height anx more space.Outside: massive tables on a huge expanse of wooden decking, overlooking the water, yachts, rocks and (hopefully!l blue skies. My onion soup was delicious.Roast beef, mash and salad...oh how the French simply improve on "Brit" food sometimes.Good friendly service, good value.A real out-of-the-way find on the right as you enter the ferry port via the entrance furthest from Roscoff. Love it.
