Just some nice people working the store who have lived in the area for a long time. And old school version of 7-11 or git and go before 7-11 or git and go They have some high end snacks, like fiji water, local California chips. Movie rentals, some good inexpensive wine selections and great local wines, a variety of hard booze, regular and craft beer all to go. Some incidentals and sundries - got a mini roll of duct tape. if you need them for your condo or camp or hotel. And of course gas - they had a grill and deli in the back but I did not check it out. ..... just remember you are in a small town resort area but I think its a little gem with lots of choices.

I love small, boutique coffee/espresso shops but I’ve rarely found one as inviting as this one. It offers beer on tap, too, and it’s wonderfully quiet! The espresso is excellent and the two beers on tap happen to be two of our Figueroa Mountain favorites (Hoppy Poppy and Blonde Ale). There are a few fresh pastries offered. I had an excellent piece of fresh, moist zucchini bread, and the large blueberry scones were begging to be eaten. There is a very nice choice of indoor and outdoor seating, included a back room inside and an outside rear patio, each of which is nicely secluded. With very good decor and wonderful background music, the inside seating is quiet and relaxed — like being in a comfy living room. Some excellent pieces of decorative art by local artists are on display and available for purchase. The owner is the barista and chatting with her was very pleasant. She has spent several years developing what she wanted for this spot and has done a remarkable job, with more to come. I look forward to taking my wife here. I suspect every trip we make to Cambria, which is often, will now include a stop here, whether for espresso or beer — maybe both!

Although we stopped in for only ice cream, the menu was VERY inviting. We stopped by after catching a quick meal at Linn's. We ordered the chocolate and strawberry cones.....EXCELLENT! We hope to stop in here the next time we are in Cambria and try out their entire menu!

Driving south down the PCH from Monterey and needed somewhere to eat, drink and take a break. Called at Cambria as this seemed the first decent sized place we’d come across. We saw this cafe, which looked popular with a number of regular locals both in and outside. The lady wh served us was pleasant enough. I did ask for a burger to be served with no cheese, as per the menu listing. She said, no it comes as it says on the menu! I did think we she was joking, but clearly haven’t quite mastered the American sense of humour. It arrived with cheese. Food was poor quality, burnt brioche bun, and chicken sandwich so heavily laden in pesto. We had coffee, espresso was sound but the mocha was undrinkable.I struggle in a country where most people bend over backwards to serve you, you cannot just leave cheese of a burger.

Loved this cafe tucked away off Main Street right near an antique store filled with great finds. A throwback to when a diner served good, basic food with friendly service. There’s even a counter with bar stools! The welcome was warm and genuine, the coffee was good and hot, and the breakfast was great. Eggs, bacon, sourdough toast. And options for those who want lighter fare. Outdoor seating is available on the patio. But if you don’t care for lots of dogs, sit inside.

The name does not indicate "Mexican cuisine," but the owners are Mexican American and serve authentic Mexican foods. When we were in Cambria a year ago, we finally tried Cambria Cafe. Would probably have tried it sooner had we realized we could get authentic Mexican food here. Anyhow, I had THE BEST Chili Relleno I'd ever had!Today we went for breakfast because I wanted authentic Huevos Rancheros. They were excellent! My husband ordered the scrambled eggs with ground chorizo mixed in. It came with rice, beans and tortillas. The flavor was excellent without being too spicy, and the chorizo was not at all greasy.Photos of Cambria 100 years ago adorn the walls. This is not a fancy place, but it is definitely a good place. Highly recommend it for simple casual meals and also for Mexican food.

Wonderful breakfast. Eat in the garden out back if you can. Plenty of shade on sunny mornings and heaters if it’s cool. We were quickly seated even though it was Sunday. The menu has plenty of traditional breakfast items and some more creative things for the adventurous. The service was efficient and friendly. The garden is pleasant and relaxed. The food was good. Can’t go wrong here.
