A trip to Büyükada just isn't complete without a stop at Ada Kahvalti. The owners, chefs, and waitstaff make you feel right at home. In addition to the sweet folks and decor, and the precious little pots your breakfast comes in, the food is excellent. Get the menamen (tomato-egg scramble)! It's so good they always seem to be full, but its worth the wait. Do yourselves a favor and have a nice relaxing breakfast at Ada Kahvalti. It embodies Turkish hospitality at it's best. (P.S. after I left Turkey, I found the restaurant on Instagram. Be sure to follow them so you can reminisce about your trip.)

This place feels a lot like a refreshing bath in the sea around Buyukada. The style of the coffeehouse/restaurant is absolutely cool, modern, original and cozy. The owners are lovely people who will serve you with elegance. The whole place breathes home-made. Excellent coffee, beautiful pies, great lemonades. The right-minded people who are not into conventional or old-fashioned stuff (of which there are too many already in Turkey) will truly appreciate !
I must admit that the cafe has a wonderfully nostalgic atmosphere BUT I couldn't believe the fact that Iced Coffee was made with Nescafe Gold. This place needs to have some real coffee, it is a nightmare for coffee addicts like me. Also, keep in mind that it doesn't have a WC.
Most of the cake is dipped in chocolatEven custard is dipped with chocolat. The custard taste is illiminated, you feel the chocolat taste only
