We stopped at the Ball for a coffee but took the opportunity to indulge a little by having breakfast. The eggs were spot on like everything else on the plate. The coffee was, as always top class. The cost is very reasonable and although they were very busy, we still received our fare in good time.
A traditional tearoom in the rural village of hare street, found just outside buntingford. we serve all homemade food and cakes, vegan and gluten free options. Dog friendly with a beautiful outside garden, with a bright happy inside, and welcoming staff a
Although very near to us this was our first visit after meaning to go there for ages... we shouldnât have left it for so long.. a breakfast visit and it was superb and great value for money. A small cafe/tea room offering a small but complete menu with vegetarian options. Great friendly service and, as previously stated, competitively priced.. We will return (often)!

What a wonderful place to visit. The atmosphere, the people, the food ... a truly immersive experience. The gift shop also adds to the charm. Heartwarming to see their commitment to the community and also the support of the local people to this business. A must visit if you are looking for a countryside drive with an inspiring ending. Great owners and friendly/helpful staff. What a lovely review, thanks so much. You have managed to summarise everything we set out to achieve: this means a lot to all the team here. Nigel
We ate inside. Vegetarian lunch for two: an all-day breakfast and a smashed avocado & rocket baguette, with fruit drinks. Good view across the picturesque street. The entrance to a park is down a narrow lane opposite the cafe. This business opened around May 2019 and the dog grooming business moved into the rear of the premises: Sally Allen Grooming Spa.

Are you are looking for a quick break for a drink, a leisurely lunch, an afternoon picking fruit with the children, your weekly fruit and veg or inspiration for that last minute gift - we have something to suit all.
Weâve been regular visitors mainly for breakfast although we have also enjoyed the lunches. The reason we keep returning is the consistent high standard of the food both in taste and presentation, the friendly welcome of the staff and the overall ambience. My parents are older and have trouble with their mobility and when theyâve joined us the staff couldnât be more caring or helpful. An absolute gem in the local area.

My sister surprised me with a unexpected visit on a Monday so we wanted somewhere convenient for lunch unfortunately my favourite restaurant the Italian in Rushden was closed on a Monday lunchtime. We strolled up the road and saw Mrs B's sandwich Emporium and decided to have a light lunch there. The only thing other than sandwiches on the menu was a Ploughmans lunch which sounded lovely and was priced at just under £6. We were extremely disappointed when it arrived there were a few pickled onions, a tiny ramekin of coleslaw, a slightly larger ramekin of salad & a chunk of Brie Also included was a 1/2 tiny baguette and one square of butter. Very expensive for what we received. I will definitely not be returning for food. The coffee was nice and hot and reasonably priced.

Having booked for my grans 88 birthday we were very happy when we arrived to see chairs outside and toys for the children to play on. The cafe is lovely inside. That unfortunately is where anything good about this cafe disappears. The service is shockingly slow, food comes out sporadically leaving others having finished before others have received their food. I had an all day breakfast which came with burned sausages, hard bacon, beans that looked like they had been through a blender and the wrong type of egg. I donât think anyone particularly enjoyed their food and we actually decided to skip cake as we did not fancy sitting there waiting for another hour! This tea room could be amazing. So much potential!

A delightful family run tea room situated in the middle of the countryside just off the A507. Perfect stop for Gardeners, Families (children friendly), Ramblers, Cyclists and Bikers. Inside and Outside seating available, Ideal party venue setting. Open 9
A proper plant centre not a garden centre that is part of a chain - it has character. The tea room also has character; very stylishly decorated, lovey crockery.. But we went for the cakes. The scones and coffee cake were absolutely ace.. The staff were all absolutely wonderful

Vintage tea room serving breakfast, light lunches, homemade cakes, scones and teabreads. Set on the green of the pretty village of Westmill in Hertfordshire.
I came here for lunch last week and was amazed by the selection of homemade cakes and delicious lunches they had to offer. Very friendly and welcoming people, which is why we will be coming back very soon!We look forward to seeing you again soon. Thanks for your review.
