Visited The Willows Café again today. Completely different staff, maybe that was because it was a Sunday. Lovely welcome from the staff, including a young trainee - not one member of staff on the a mobile phone. Restaurant clean, tidy and very welcoming. Cheese scones to die for. Much better than our previous visit

Farmers Kitchen, farm shop & eatery is located in the former Dove Restaurant, in the heart of the beautiful Waveney Valley, between Harleston and Bungay. We serve hearty breakfasts and lunches, using fabulous local produce, including pork from our own far
Canât recommend Farmers Kitchen highly enough especially for afternoon tea. There were 30 ladies (sorry 29 ladies and 1 gentleman!) celebrating a special birthday. Freshly prepared sandwiches for all dietary requirements. Followed by scones with cream and jam then a selection of cakes, meringue nests and possets. All homemade and delicious. Plenty of norfolk cordial, tea and coffee all served with a smile. Perfect afternoon
Cafe and soft play, with indoor and outdoor play areas. Aimed at pre-schoolers, our play frame is designed for children under 7yrs. We have an indoor and outdoor play frame, a sandpit, ride-ons and space to run off some energy! We make lovely coffees, tea
Lovely surroundings for under 7's to run some energy off. It's safe and the children love it here. The café is very nice. The food is all fresh and is made to order. Good coffee and tea. Lovely staff. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommended.

Traditional English home cooked favourites, exceptional value for money.
O.M.Goodness, what ever has helped here. I have been coming here for years and have never been dissappointed untill today. Called in for a breakfast, ordered, looked for a clean table and chair, surprised at the dirty floor and tables, considering this was 2nd January and I was possibly the first person in since 31st December, the mess was possibly 2 days old. Anyway the coffee was good but when the breakfast arrived the beans were cold, the mushrooms were cold, the egg was cold, the bacon was cold, the plate was cold, but the sausage was hot. Probably because I asked for the sausage to be well done. I ate the sausage only and left the rest. I was offered another breakfast but decided to go elsewhere for a decent breakfast. I have all ways followed the advice of a restaurant critic which is, if things go wrong in the first 5 minutes, then everything else will go wrong, I have found this to be sound advice. It's the most expensive sausage and brown sauce I've ever had, but at least I will know where not to go for a breakfast ever again.

Situated on the B1062 between Beccles and Bunga, The Tally Ho Tearooms is a Victorian style Tearooms serving light lunches and Afternoon Teas - All Day!
Tally Ho Tearooms are like stepping into the 1950s - in a good way! A lovely, old, wonky, wooden-beamed building, plenty of space (tables are not squashed together), prettily decorated tables and friendly, attentive staff make it feel like a real treat - even if you have only stopped for a cuppa and a scone.I have now earmarked this place as a place I would take my mother for an extra special treat - and next time, I might well go for one of the far more involved 'teas' on offer.Thank you for your kind words. We look forward to seeing you and your mother in the future.

Open 7 days a week serving freshly prepared meals. Everything HOMEMADE and no Freezer or Microwave insight. Daily specials and booking is advisable, as there doesn't seem to be a pattern to when we are busy!
Ordered a Black coffee and a Diet Coke. Coffee wasnât very hot and very weak. Order came to £4.70 very overpriced.

Jesters is a coffee shop located in the market town of Bungay Suffolk. All Jesters food is prepared daily on the premises and meals are made to order. The menu includes home-made cakes, home-made scones, panini's, jacket potatoes, tea cakes, sausage rolls
Well worth a visit, even if the weather doesnât encourage outward travel. A polite welcome, followed by time to read the menu. We ordered 2 Panini (Bacon,Brie & Tomato Chutney; Stilton with Mango Chutney), a tea and a coffee. Drinks were promptly delivered and the waiter asked to add chips to our order, which he did. When the food came, after a short period as we could see it being freshly prepared in the kitchen area,it was hot and most tasty. Yes, Iâll visit again, and as this place acts as the gatekeeper for the Bungay Castle it should be on the trail of any enthusiastic monument seeker.

Situated at Hedenham on the side of the Norwich to Bungay road, the former Highland cattle shed has been transformed since 2014 into a light and airy barn housing a great mix of foodie delights and some eclectic shopping opportunities. A welcoming outside
We called in for tea having driven past so many times. It was busy and lots of people were enjoying lunch. Cakes were home made and good. Fresh pies and salads looked very inviting. Will go for lunch next time. Lots of bits and bobs to buy as well as Norfolk comestibles. Some plants for sale outside. Friendly staff.
