We decided to go even though the parking lot had only one car, there's your sign. The server seemed a little flaky but was nice.We ordered the special which was steak,& choice of 4 shrimp, catfish or cod.My husband ordered steak & cod but the server didn't have her pen to take the order.I ordered steak & shrimp. She brought us both steak & shrimp, so she took his plate away & brought back the cod.If it was me I would have just bought a separate plate with the cod & left the 4 frozen mostly batter shrimp because of her mistake but that's just me..Ok next she left for a good 10 minutes to the kitchen or so we thought & needed refills on our drinks. My husband went & looked in the kitchen door window & didn't see anyone, so he stands there for a couple of minutes waiting with glasses in hand & just decides to help himself behind the counter for our refills. When she finally came out of the kitchen she was oblivious to our full glasses.Probably be because she was on her phone most of the time either texting or answering the two calls she received, not going to the kitchen to talk but talking & texting in the dining room.Ok now the food. My husband asked her what kind of steak it is & she said it's just steak it was tasty but I ordered med rare & the very center was raw.The shrimp was frozen mostly breading but I expected frozen but they should really change brand if shrimp they use as the shrimp inside were itty bitty. My husband's cod was edible. We didn't complain because there was no mgr.on. site.We mentioned when paying the bill how many pastries were leftover in the case under the register & she gave my husband a free peach fritter that he enjoyed. We've been here for lunch & breakfast in the past & will probably go for those again as Kingsland is definitely lacking in restaurants.

If you are looking for a great place to spend a few nights, Antlers is your destination. So many choices. Caboose, cabins, Coach Car, historic hotel. A great asset to the Texas Hill Country. Located next to the Grand Central Cafe where the food, atmosphere, and service are unparolled. Win, Win.
We are a super cute, stand-alone coffee shop with a drive thru and a dog-friendly porch! Come visit us and enjoy a delicious coffee, tea, lemonade or smoothie.
This is a fairly new coffee shop. It is a darling place to try! It's tastefully decorated in the "heron" theme. It's very clean and respectable. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating and seem to be open to suggestions to enhance their business. The coffee takes a little bit of time to prepare and as was the case with my coffee, it was not as hot as I would prefer. The barista was trying to make my coffee (standard) along with another customers fancier choice so that's why I think mine came lukewarm. They offer a few prepackaged sweet buns but I think if they could make their own the customer may purchase something made locally.

My bf and I eat out on weekends when cruizin on our Harleys. Never disappointed. Love the grilled chicken breast sandwich and tuna melt. Cobblers great with BlueBell. Highly recommend. The only thing i have as anegative......i wish they had better parking for motorcycle riders.Dear Gina G,I certainly appreciate your positive comments about our desserts and Sandwiches. We make our cobblers fresh in house and are proud to top your favorite dessert with Blue Bell Ice Cream. We have quite a few Motorcycle riders especially since we are almost across the street from Burnet's Motor Heads Motorcycle Museum. Your statement about motorcycle parking has never been brought to my attention. Next time you're in the area please stop by and explain to me what is needed for better motorcycle parking. Thanks for your nice comments and we hope to see you again soon,Tom Hansen
