The town is the administrative centre of the municipality of Time and it is also one of the 50 largest towns/cities in Norway. Bryne's location in the prospering region of Stavanger/Sandnes and excellent road and rail links make Bryne an attractive area for commuters. The town is expanding rapidly and there have been reports of problems with schooling capacity. Bryne Church is located in the centre of the town and Time Church is located 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) east of the town.

Menyen var forhåndsoppsatt og det var valgt en 5 retter.Maten var utsøkt og servicen det samme.Presentasjon av maten og stedet, supert.Vin-forslag var satt til rettene og var meget bra.Besøket og måltidet var en "høydare". Takk for en hyggelig kveld.

The place is very nice and tastefully decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located in the same building as the new cinemaf which is a big plus. Cosy café in the corner of a good-looking library in Bryne. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff who easily give you information about the food they make. Very French dishes, well made.
