Broadstairs is a coastal town on the Isle of Thanet in the Thanet district of east Kent, England, about 80 miles (130 km) east of London. It is part of the civil parish of Broadstairs and St Peter's, which includes St Peter's, and had a population in 2011 of about 25,000. Situated between Margate and Ramsgate, Broadstairs is one of Thanet's seaside resorts, known as the "jewel in Thanet's crown". The town's crest's Latin motto is Stella Maris ("Star of the Sea"). The name derives from a former flight of steps in the chalk cliff, which led from the sands up to the 11th-century shrine of St Mary on the cliff's summit.

Six of us thrashed round the course in quick time and laughed so much, of course you can take it seriously through the windmills, ramps and bunkers but really ! It is great fun for 3.50 and snacks etc mean you can sit n watch the family or chill after, a bonus 13 hole means you could get a free game with a hole in one.Pay a visit great fun for all the family, in a lovely setting

I really like Marks and Spencers and shop there a lot so would love to have given them a better review. Two of us tried their Turkey Feast sandwich, for Saturday lunch, which was excellent. Full of turkey, stuffing and cranberry - couldnât fault it. Their Christmas cake slice was also lovely, firm, full of fruit and scrumptious icing. The downside.... it took 15 minutes to pay for the goods and get two coffees. The queue wasnât that long but the staff were so slow it was painful to watch. The cashier left the till twice to get cups and then teapots which meant the queue grinded to a halt. I did mention this to a member of staff who had a tie on, so I assume they were a supervisor or manager. He smiled and just explained that the barista needed more crockery. In the meantime he was just wandering around and could/should have stepped in and helped. Or got someone else who wasnât on the till to replenish the crockery. The staff are friendly and seem really nice - they are just badly managed. Come on M&S get your act together! We wonât be eating here again.

We (as family & with friends) have been visiting the Cafe Grill for many years. We have watched it grow from humble beginings to a good sized, clean, light and airy place that it is today. The food and the service have been consistently fantastic over approx 10 yrs of visiting. The Owner and Staff are friendly and welcoming. Menu is extensive. Nothing is too much trouble. Prices are very resonable. We will be back again!

I live in the town and used to go to sinatras quite a bit for a breakfast...I really feel its gone downhill. the bubble and squeak was undercooked with big chunks of carrot, slow service, didn't ask what toast we wanted, forgot sauce, forgot drinks for 10 minutes. and all this for 18 quid for two small sized breakfasts and a drink. think rustic co up the road will take over..... up your game sinatras you used to be great!

Cafe/Eaterie with an emphasis on free from, e.g. veggie, vegan, dairy and gluten free dishes. We have a sunny and peaceful courtyard garden. We have a licence for alcohol and more importantly, we are next to the last bank/money machine in Broadstairs Dogs
Stopped in without planning to to grab a light brunch. Got there just after opening so it wasn't super busy. The service is excellent - attentive but not overwhelming, and the food, although not an overstated menu, was wonderful, perfectly cooked, with a lovely balance of flavours.Thank you so much for taking the time to review Verreys. Glad you enjoyed yourself and look forward to seeing you again. Debra

Thoroughly recommend this bakery and cafe. Lovely breakfast and great friendly service. Spotlessly clean premises and a wide selection on both the take away and eat in menu. Ideal location for the train station. Will revisit and buy from here again!

The Bandstand Cafe offers fresh local food, Ice cream from Jersey cows, famous toasted tea cakes, great entertainment and more
We visited The Bandstand Kiosk in Broadstairs on a warm Saturday afternoon in July. We had travelled to Broadstairs specifically to see a performance at the Bandstand itself and bought a cup of coffee and a tea here before settling down for the event. We chose to travel to Broadstairs by train wishing to avoid any potential traffic problems and parking difficulties and the mainline railway station is an easy ten minute walk from the main beach. The Bandstand area is in a pleasant location at one end of the main beach, high up on the cliffs. The kiosk serves this area directly and has a good range of drinks and snacks for the potential visitor. The kiosk has its own set of tables and chairs (which I believe had a table service as well), from which it is possible to view the bandstand from the side though we chose to sit in the âfreeâ seating provided for the bandstand itself as this gave a better view of the performers. As well as serving drinks and snacks, the kiosk also had a small stock of tourist leaflets including a âwhatâs onâ guide for 2018, the young man who served me was polite and the drinks were served in cardboard cups with a plastic lid (note this was the âtakeawayâ service). There are public toilets nearby not associated with the kiosk though note that these are reached via a flight of steps and were a bit âtiredâ though functional.Would certainly consider returning here on another visit if the weather was good.

This is a tea room
Very pleasant cafe in a side street which leads to the beach -quiet but centrally situated and convenient for the sea, the shops and places of interest. Good place to retire to after a strenuous swim!

Its nearly 3 years since I last reviewed Beaches, well the Nachos and veg chilli are still good, my wife's favorite haloumi salad and still one of our chosen places to eat during the Folk Week. Would probably have eaten there more often but they close so early - when I have played an early afternoon gig in one of the local pubs its impossible for me to get there much before 4.30 and by that time they are usually piling up the chairs and mopping the floor!

A touch of nostalgia in Broadstairs. Step back in time and relax with a pot of locally blended tea or a freshly ground coffee. Wide selection of hot and cold drinks, many produced in Kent. Afternoon teas cream teas, children's party teas served all day. T
Clean, neat and tidy and quirky at the same time.We ordered a cream tea and got a lovely big pot of tea and two scones.Staff were friendly and polite and really enjoyed the stop off.More expensive than other places in town.Glad you enjoyed your cream tea, I will ensure staff see your comments about their service - itâs always appreciated thank you
