An extensive wine list, delicious, authentic Italian food, decadent desserts and all right beside Harris Farm. The food and service are both reliable. It's just a real pity that the atmosphere doesn't match the food. If it did, this would be my preferred for a special night out.

Engaging and exciting, bringing friends and family together. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, with a touch of sophistication. Elegantly relaxed, not flashy. Smart, yet casual. ludo. is perfect for all occasions...planned or spontaneous.
We eat here frequently, mostly breakfast but some times lunch. Have yet to try dinner. We first ate there under the previous management and sure the food has changed with the new team but it is still good and well priced. I like being able to have a glass of local wine with lunch. Service is excellent from what appears to be a family team.

A wide range of different meals to suit range of tastes. A little disappointed in service as meals came out randomly, drinks were forgotten at the table. While some meals were very good others were ordinary but it is obviously a very popular eating venue. While somewhat disappointed by random service issue would go there again.

This café is in the Moss Vale Mall which runs between the main road (Argyle Street) and the shopping centre car park. We had lunch here on two different days and found the service consistently sharp, welcoming and professional. They offer table service and the menu has plenty of options, including daily specials, at very reasonable prices. On our first visit our food was delivered very quickly. On our second visit it took a long time for lunch to arrive - maybe this was because one of us ordered risotto. I did notice other tables received their orders a lot faster. Regardless of this little glitch, the food was excellent quality, plentiful, and piping hot. We would definitely return to this café.

Avoid if you have other options.Disappointing experience. Should have read the other reviews. Better than 2* but not really 3*. Boards out front advertising all sorts of options including Bacon and egg rolls. Allocated a table and with some battered menus. Looked for Bacon and Egg Roll. Nope, not there. Asked the waitress only to be told that a bacon and egg roll is the same as the standard breakfast of Bacon and Eggs. It isn't! Don't argue with the consumer. In the end, I gave in and went with SWMBO's direction plus a fresh juice and double shot coffee. The other order was for fruit toast with ricotta and honey. Sorry no ricotta, will yoghurt do? OK, but then the fruit toast arrives with butter and yoghurt.Lots of potential but totally underwhelming, particularly when everything arrived out of order. Long black getting cold while the orange juice was "squeezed". BER turned out to be two thick slices of bread lightly toasted with an egg and bacon in between.Yeah, Nah. Running out of options in Berrima. Overhyped tourist trap. Will reserve my patronage for the busy lunch venue up the hill.
Food is excellent. The flavours are delicious. Great prices. Fantastic service. Relaxing atmosphere. You wonât be disappointed.

The advantage this cafe has over other ones in town, is that it is open early for breakfast when the other establishments are still closed. When we visited it was a one-woman show, taking orders, making food, clearing tables. We came for breakfast. It was very simple, nothing fancy (eg mushrooms on toast is literally just that). The coffee was average. The venue has potential and once inside is quite spacious.

What a great find!We went to two places before the General Store only to be turned away at one and not served at another. We walked into general store and instantly greeted by delightful staff.Sat down to look at the menu and specials. So many great options to choose. We ended up with the burger and Croque Madame. The burger was great and juicy! The croque madame exceeded all expectations! We will return next time we are in town!Highly, highly recommended! So grateful for the delicious food and enjoyable experience.

A family friendly cafe in beautiful Berrima that serves great coffee and food. Large seating area allows us to cater for big groups. Catering and take away service also available.
We decided to try this cafe, so glad we did...now under new ownership. New owners amazing super friendly, great service, excellent food. They brought our dog a bowl of clean water and a bowl with a dog biscuit, homemade by their daughter. The Apple cider was refreshing and the Ploughmans very nice with little relishes ,followed by scones. We loved it so much we came back the next day and again out came the bone for the dog. They loved her. We had the Ruben sandwich which was superb. We brought some biscuit bones to bring home with us. Already missing this cafe. Will have to visit again.

Fully Licenced Thursday BYO wine only BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL
The food and service is excellent. The dishes offered are quiet unusual and very flavoursome. The serving sizes were very good. I certainly will be coming back to try other dishes. The costs were very reasonable. As we were there for lunch on a Sunday i was surprised at how full the restaurant was by 12.30 pm. Luckily we arrived at 12 to make sure we got a table.
