Belmont is a small suburban city in Gaston County, North Carolina, United States, located about 15 miles (24 km) west of uptown Charlotte and 9 miles (14 km) east of Gastonia. The population was 10,076 at the 2010 census. Once known as Garibaldi Station, the name change for Belmont is disputed. Some say it was named for a prominent New York banker - August Belmont. Others contend the Pope ordered the abbot of the monastery to change the name since he would not tolerate an abbey in a place that bore the Garibaldi name. The abbot could see Crowder's mountain from the property and named the town Belmont - "beautiful mountain". Belmont is home to Belmont Abbey College.

I get you pay for the name...I can get the same drink from a friendlier person at my local coffee spot. Had a gift card to use and felt like I was rushed through ordering. NO helpful suggestions and felt uncomfortable to even ask a question about the specialty coffee that was displayed. Probably wouldn't waste my time or money again. ALSO NO THIS IS NOT MY FIRST TIME AT SB But I like to try new coffees... not the place to do that though i guess.

Brenda can make pretty much any cake design , you can think of. Faith, the lady who works there is so nice and easy to work with. I've have requested the most unique cakes and cupcakes, and they always have looked amazing and tasted even more amazing. We have had Brenda make, every from cake wedding cakes to cakes that look like poker tables, bunny cupcakes , football jerseys and many, many more. I think she likes the challenge. She has so many flavors, I love the strawberry. I don't really like the taste of the fondant icing... so I have had her put butter cream under the fondant. The fondant looks great and peels off so you can have the taste of the butter cream. I would never go anyplace else for cake or cupcakes for my party's or gatherings!

In Belmont out of Charlotte NC.Lovey 1850 house vey well preserve,intersing setting,everything restore.Very nice lunch selection of sala soup an sandwich. Nice and friendly service. Wine list could be better,butVery inexpensive prices.Excellent experience.

We stumbled upon Cherubs Cafe on a visit to Belmont. Glad we stopped in!! Food was excellent and portions were large. We will be sure to visit again :-)
