Barrow Boys is a specialty coffee shop in Kerikeri, Bay of Islands.
Have been waiting to try Barrow Boys coffee and was not dissappointed. Adults had the nitro chilled coffee and it was perfect - not bitter yet full flavoured. Son had iced chocolate that was huge and really good. Food (lunch and slices) were all really tasty but a little on the small size for the prices.

We stopped here for lunch as it used to be owned by a friend, who has since passed away. We enjoyed an excellent lunch with home made food.

Went here for breakfast after arriving the day before our holiday. We both ordered butter pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup. We also had large flat whites. The pancakes were delicious and the flat whites were wonderful. Service was very friendly and amicable. We didnât have to wait long for our food either, it was delivered with a smile. The next day we went for breakfast and I had the tastiest french toast ever, it had pineapple, apple, pear, blueberries. My husband had a full breakfast which he said was one of the best he has had.We love staying in Russell and this is one of the best cafés there is. I took a photo of the pancakes and sent it to my friends, they were quite jealous.

Had some drinks here over the Christmas break, which was lovely sitting on the balcony, soaking in the Russell atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Decided to go back for dinner another night, but were quite disappointed with the food, which was very average and basic and took a very long time to arrive to the table. Liked the place but not the food, shame this has so much more potential.

Had a late breakfast here; nice little Café in KeriKeri, offering gluten free and organic food. Tables are set outside and inside, food was fresh, fresh grapefruit juice was phantastic. All good.

"IT'S YOUR PLACE" ...That's what we like to say, so welcome to our place which is also your place. We enjoy the company of our local clientele who have become regulars at the restaurant and created a great community with whom we share our lives every day.

We offer a wide variety of menu items, including breakfasts, morning and afternoon tea and light lunch. For breakfast the delicious Rainbow Falls Full English has been highly rated by our guests and we also serve organic muesli, free range eggs and toast
What a delightful Tea House in a lovely garden setting with a peaceful ambience, which is hard to find today. We were meeting some old friends and were recommended to come here for a quiet lunch.I had the egg and cress sandwiches which were delicious, so fresh and tasty and beautifully presented. My friend had the soup, equally delicious. The guys chose the Guiness pies which they said were a bit bland not a robust Guiness flavour and very runny. The cake selection we had for dessert were all good, I particularly liked the lemon cake.

Reviews rated this cafe quite highly but to be fair we called in as its close to a great bookstore. Good coffee. Small but varied menu (on board inside) but no kidâs menu which was a minus. Good food (although the mushrooms on ciabatta were a bit overloaded with sauce). Around 20 mins wait for food which was fine but weâd finished our coffee well before the meal arrived. Rated as child friendly but didnât get that vibe. No play area.

Funky looking small Cafe with a quality coffee; awesome latin style food and refreshing drinks. All this with a free high speed WIFI and good prices.
I had a bacon and egg breakfast burrito (as shown in the picture). recommendable! The town doesn't seem to wake up and get started all that early, El Cafe was one of the first cafes to open.
