this is the most outstanding part of my visit to this part of Mainse.this is the COMMON Good. Popovers, always hot and being made in the kitchen, hot oatmeal, juice, coffee, tea, home made jam, butter and other items. Music on Sundays, other days music but not as many players. This is a by donation breakfast. Always a large group of people who want a good breakfast and help others show up.check by calling to see if they are open as there a few months in the cold weather when they close for breakfast. Well worth the trip. great for the family. Love playing the Uke? bring it, they most likely will tell you it is ok to sit in and play with them. the area seems to be nuts about Uke's. sometimes you get 25 or 30 playing at one time. These are outstanding people who want to help those in need. Read about this place when you google COMMON GOOD,S.W.Harbor,Me.

Came here on our last night in Maine for dinner with my family of 5. Our server was very nice and answered all questions. The warm bruschetta and the caprese appetizers were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their dinners not one person complained. The chef or someone from the kitchen staff actually comes out and gets herbs right from the garden and you can taste that freshness in their dishes. I normally donât order desert but thought Iâd try the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and it was well worth every calorie! Great atmosphere and I would definitely recommend

A farm to table cafe in charming Northeast harbor. Come for breakfast and then come back again for lunch! Try our take out family dinners and consider booking the private table for your group or event.
Yum yum, the food is super fresh and gourmet high quality. The produce and meats are summer fresh locally sourced from M.D.I farmers. Its so delicious and easy to get lunches and sandwhiches on the go from here. I also like the baked goods, healthy choices, yummy flavored complimentary water, and coffees. This place has wonderful style, with a casual coastal elegance. I ended up going here almost every day and grabbing sandwhiches to go for my picnic swims , beach days and picnic hikes. Northeast Harbor is lucky to have this place! Thanks Alida! We love hearing that we are doing a good job!
McGrath's has simply the best espresso and drip coffee we could find in our four days in and around Acadia National Park. There are a few chairs outside by the sidewalk, but mainly a to-go operation.
