Buscot is Between Lechlade and Faringdon, located near a popular lock on the Thames.
What a cracking team room near Buscot Weir. Very friendly service and fortunate enough to benefit from freshly baked scones just out of the oven with lashings of jam and clotted cream, absolutely delicious. A lovely sunny day to be able to sit in the garden, ample seating in amongst a delightful cottage garden. What more could you ask for. We'll be back!

This was definitely the hub of the high street on a sunny Sunday morning, busy with locals, cyclists, bikers & dog walkers. We weren't in a hurry so didn't mind the relaxed service especially as it was so charming. It was worth the wait - the best scrambled eggs we've had in a while & heavenly sour dough toast. Fresh orange juice seemed a little pricey but coffees were good. Everything must be specifically cooked to order as we were unable to get a last minute change from bacon to sausage, but it didn't dent our enjoyment of the morning.HiThank you. Glad you noticed and appreciated what we all work hard to achieve. A relaxed, casual, informal atmosphere with good food and coffee to match! Thanks for taking the time to write!Rob

We source from local producers that are as passionate about food as we are! We keep the flavours real and give the produce the respect it deserves. Proper food - nothing more, nothing less. All dishes are made to order, and everything is homemade,
Called in here one evening, but had not realised it was there. Very intimate venue, but ideal for a quiet drink in comfortable surroundings. Guess you could call it quirky. Limited tables upstairs and down. Games available along with complimentary snacks. Coffee shop by day and wine bar by night. Offers also available. Worth a wonder by, but needs to advertise more.

Huffkins is a bit unusual. We are an independent family business with our own craft bakery and a heritage that stretches back to 1890. Established in Burford, at the heart of the Cotswolds, by Mr Titcombe our breads and cakes were originally delivered by
Really like this place. Its like an old fashioned cafe with waitress service and proper old cafe food But its service, decor etc isa all modern if that makes sense. We often go to Bettys in York and to me this is the Betty's of Witne. There was a small mistake with the drinks when they came out and the young girl was a little flustered, but almost instantly another was there sorting it out. (Not that we were bothered) Food was excellent, I had the eggs Benedict, awesome. My wife really loves the place. My son lives in Witney and we visit when we can (200 mile away but we always go here time allowing. Its so laid back but so professionall. Definitely try it out if you visit.. (One comment for the owners. I love a cafetaire with 2 or even 3 cups in but they only do the small. Maybe put as option on menu.)Thank you so much Glenn for taking the time to write a lovely review. We hope you can come and visit again sometime soon. And thank you for your comment about the cafetiere we will pass it on for you. Thank you again Siobhan.

Who would have thought in little Faringdon. The most delicious Indonesian food combined with excellent coffee. A regular business visitor to Faringdon I drive out of my way to come here either for lunch or just the coffee. Delightful ladies that own it too. Thoroughly deserve all the top ratings

There are so many good things about this place. It is attractive to everyone and caters very well for people with allergies. We had walnut, banana and chocolate cake, latte and hot chocolate. The quality of the food is great, friendly service and not too expensive. Thereâs one large toilet witch also has the baby change facility. Breastfeeding friendly too. I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit and thank you for your kind words. I will be sure to pass them on to the staff.

A open and airy country cafe located in Aston Oxfordshire. We bake cakes and sweet treats which are available all day, along with hot and cold drinks. During lunch we have a selection of meals available, from lighter snacks to hearty hot meals. Ranging fr
Having walked around the shop and looked at all the pottery on sale we came back downstairs to the cafe entrance and queued for our tea and coffee whilst ordering our quiche, baked potato and salad followed by a scone and a vegan cake for one person. The order went astray but the staff quickly apologized and the correct order came along with polite staff. Lovely surroundings whilst sipping your tea with the large windows all around the cafe. One of the nicest and cleanest toilets I have come across in many years with lovely hand wash liquid soap. Well done to all the staff running this place. If only all centers were this good.

We visited this lovely café on a sunny afternoon for a leisurely lunch and sat outside. We ordered a smoked chicken sandwich, goulash, Scotch egg and a pulled pork roll. Everything was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. We followed on with lemon drizzle cake, chocolate Guinness cake and doughnuts! So much delicious home made food - we rather overdid it! Then we bought a loaf of bread from the bakery and some gorgeous cheese to take home for later. What a find! Will definitely be visiting again soon.
