Although service was extremely slow (everyone was waiting 45 minutes to an hour), our food was outstanding. I had an amazing Cobb Salad; my husband had a half turkey sandwich with a side salad. He loved his sandwich. We both didn’t get the bleu cheese dressing as ordered so the waiter had to bring us both dressing. Wait was sooo long for our food! Waitress said something about a “printing error.” Hhhmmm

We stopped here for supper tonight. We both ended up ordering the fried chicken dinner with salads, carrots, dinner rolls, and potato. The salad was a standard iceberg lettuce based mix, nothing fancy. The dinner was three good-sized pieces of fried chicken, crisp, hot, and delicious. I had a baked potato with sour cream and my partner had the tater tots. The vegetable side was cooked carrots. My partner finished off his meal with a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie. This place serves standard diner fare, very well done. The standout here is the service and the people. Our waitress was excellent, friendly and personable. The couple beside us were also friendly and shared photos of the furniture they make since we were sitting at a table that the husband had made. They made us feel at home. Highly recommend if you want a warm atmosphere, great people, and some well prepared filling food.

We went for coffee.. just your normal, average everyday non fat no sugar latte. Tempted us they did with their brown sugar cinnamon crunch top muffins..... they almost had us too... but AHAHA we foiled their nefarious plans to satiate our appetites with sugar and off we went into the smoky gray yonder eating our God food of banana's and nature made sugar free granola bars..... I shall stop again to check on the little pig often, but alas.. will I be able to refrain from the wiles of their muffin magic? Only time will tell my friends..... only time will tell.

Stopped in after we couldn't get served a D & J's Tacos across the street. See my review on that experience. Afterwards we agreed our dining experience in Baker City worked out for the best. My wife enjoyed the rich creamy bowl of potato soup she had. My bagel sandwich was delicious. The moist chewy Italian herb bagel was combined with veggie cream cheese, turkey, and Swiss cheese. Great choice. And the service was fast and friendly. If I lived in Baker, I would be here often.

Blah and not much selection or things to munch on while sipping coffee. The coffee was good but I don't see a return visit in our future.
