Reviews on Cafe food in Bakar, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Croatia. Bakar (Italian: Buccari, Hungarian: Szádrév) is a town in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in western Croatia. The population of the town was 8,279 according to the 2011 Croatian census, including 1,473 in the titular settlement. Ninety percent of the population declared themselves Croats by ethnicity. The largest ethnic minority are the Serbs with 2.91% of the population. The old part of Bakar is situated on a hill overlooking the Bay of Bakar. "Bakar" is the Croatian word for copper.

the food is excelent unlike the service... i ordered a cheesburger with no tomato...and some other stuff that they forgot and they forgot the no tomato thing so i got a cheesburger with tomato...i wanted the check and they said i git to wait for the food i ordered... the place is cool the fiod is awsome but i hate the waiters cause there must be some waiters that can handle a table of 3 ...

The second branch of the excellent Cacao pastry shop, located at the highest floor of the Tower Center shopping mall, is as good as the original one in the center of the city. It offers a great selection of cakes, pastries, hot and cold drinks in the cozy and comfortable space, with fast, friendly and efficient service. In this time of the year my first choice are cakes made from the well-known local chestnut, and of course the chestnut puree accompanied by an excellent espresso. Highly recommended!

Perfect little place in the center of Rijeka where you can enjoy the company of your friends or a good book! Excellent tea and coffee + cookies, and Hirter beer + peanuts. Dnevni boravak is croatian for "living room" and we mean it ;)

Love the interior... it's very different than the other cafes in the town.. we usually come here during our office lunch break.. they have a great hot chocolate with many different tastes! It's delicious!! The only downside is since it's small and crowded place, vent isn't great, so most of the time there is an unpleasant cigarettes' odor .. even in a small "non smoking" part.. other than that - highly recommended!

My favourite place in Rijeka! I love to sit for hours in this lovely cafe bar on the quiet Sismis-square in the very city center. It's a bit difficult to find, but when once there it's definitely worth it! I actually love Prostorija for it's "hidden" atmosphere. Each time I'm in Rijeka I have to go there for at least one macchiato - which is always delicious. The waiters are super-friendly (my favourite one is a girl with short dark reddish hair, I think she's also one of the owners) and the prices are totally ok. First I thought it must be expensive because of the very chic looking design, but it's definitely not. Great recommendation!Thank you for such a nice words.Warm regards!

They often have live music nights (usually at weekends) but during the day you can enjoy beautiful view from the top of the building over Korzo and see up close Rijeka's clock tower. You can sit inside too but it's nothing fancy. A lot of young teens during day, later it's mostly early 20's ppl. but older too.
