Things to do in Baiona
Good music. Pretty place. Comfy seats. We had vodka with freshly squeezed orange juice: WOW! So good. Plus you get a little bowl with peanuts with your drink. Prices higher than average.

Fresh croissants every morning of our holiday, and even yummier pastries every evening. This bakery was a delight and is a must for anyone with a sweet tooth.

we stayed for a week in Baiona and the day of our arrival, we went for a walk into town en along the watersince our son wanted some ice, we strolled along a bit to look for a heladeria and finally we chose Emilin, which is a rather simple looking bar without much comfort insidebut their ice cream is truly deliciousof the 7 days we were in Baiona, we ate about 6 times ice and always went to Emilin because we didn't judge it necessary to try any other heladeriawe did see sometimes someone sitting in the back of the place, maybe the owner who seems to have quite a reputation, but didn't have any issue with himthe young man serving us and the waitress were both always politewouldn't go there for anything else then the ice cream, as i wrote earlier, the place doesn't invite to pop in, but the ice cream sure is worth a trywe didn't try the churros, so no opinion about that
Top 10 Seafood food in Baiona, Province of Pontevedra, Spain
As part of our SantiagoWays (reviewed separately here on TA) Camino Portugues package, we were provided each morning with breakfast and a âpicnicâ (food to take with us for lunch that day on El Camino). On our stay in Baiona, that meant our breakfast and âpicnicâ were provided at this restaurant, in this case on a Tuesday morning. We were told by our hotel that they serve breakfast beginning at 6:30, making it possible to get a somewhat early start, but it became clear when we arrived that the wait staff thought we would not show up before 7. Our meal, covered by the dispensation from the tour company and/or the hotel, consisted of a small glass of fresh orange juice, a cafe con leche, and a piece of thick toast without butter, but with one packet of jam. This was the least generous and friendly breakfast of our time on El Camino, but it was sufficient to carry us forward, and light enough to sit well until we ate the provided picnic (ham and cheese in white bread with no mayo or mustard, an orange, and a small package if cookies) two hours later.
