Eigentlich haben wir hier immer gerne eingekauft. Aber leider sind die Waren nicht mehr so gut wie in den letzten Jahren. Besonders enttäuschend war unser persönliches Highlight der Bienenstich, den es Dienstags gibt. Aber leider war er dieses Jahr nicht so gut, wie die ganzen Jahre zuvor. Finde ich echt schade. AuÃerdem wurde man die Jahre zuvor viel freundlicher bedient. Wir hoffen, dass es nächstes Jahr wieder besser ist. PS: Es muss Waginger heiÃen!!!

Our party of 9 (4 adults, 5 children) ate at the Almenhof on Christmas night 2014. The food was very reasonably priced and all 9 meals were excellent, catering for those who wanted more traditional fare (eg. the trio of dumplings), local produce (eg. the steaks), as well as fish fingers and chips for one of the children. The live music from the accordion and guitar, with a bit of yodelling thrown in, really added to the atmosphere and was loud enough for us to hear over our chat, but wasn't at all intrusive. Menus were in English, which helped us non-German speakers, although the waitress had a bit of trouble translating the dishes back to German. Overall, it really made our Christmas Day.

Haben uns von dort den Faschingsumzug angesehen. Ging direkt am Kaffee vorbei. Haben dann den ganzen Nachmittag dort verbracht. Die türkisch stämmigen Eirtsleute sind überaus nett. Kaffespezialitäten prima. Im Sommer kann man sehr schön drauÃen sitzen. Meine Empfehlung.

Hemos estado alojados 6 DÃas aquÃ, y Hemos ido practicámente cada dia a tomar un helado. Deliciosos, y además muy baratos. Probad el Sonthofen Creme, muy bueno!

We discovered this restaurant by chance on return from a hiking trip. The staff is very friendly and service minded. and the typical local menu suited our needs very well. We chose normally the special of the day, and it was great each time, and nicely priced.

We have been to this Italian restaurant several times, and each time we have had a good experience. Pizzas are large, thin, and delicious. The bruschetta is excellent and good to share. Portions are very large. Make sure you make reservations, as it can be very busy, particulary in the tourist seasons.

Die schön auf einem Sonnenplateau liegende Hütte bietet sich im Winter ideal zum Wandern (eher flacher geteerter Weg, runter auch für den Schlitten, auch Kinder) oder Skitour und Schneeschuhwandern an. Hier geht es über einen kürzeren aber steileren Weg nach oben. In Summe ist man aber in 40min oben, alles eher eine nette kleine Wanderung. Die Verpflegung oben ist sehr ordentlich, besonders die Kuchen sind sehr lecker! Parken kann man unten, direkt an der StraÃe. Und wenn es mal voll ist, gehts gegenüber am SpieÃerlift auch ganz gut.

Enjoyed a family lunch in the sun with my grandchildren. The food was excellent for both adults and children. We had typical Bavarian dishes including a huge lemon and sugar pancake served in an enormous frying pan - a dish the three adults shared. We sat outside in the garden, which contained climbing frame and swings, next door to a typical white Bavarian church. Bliss
