The gardens have grown wel, lovely to walk around again, just wish we could grow some of the plants here in New Zealand. The famous lemon cheesecake was excellent again along with the lemon quencher drink. Cheesecake was a bit pricey at $21 but divine. Cafe in excellent surroundings.
Stopped in here on a bar crawl around the island for some cocktails. The staff was great and setting was good. They cocktails were fine but compared to others Iâd had on the island they werenât the best. Good place to stop in tho. Iâd go back and try some food and maybe have a beer We've upped the game on cocktails now with $10 standard cocktails (large) and $25 fishbowl cocktails (mega large). Super tasty and potent too!

We ate here recently and the food was yummy and very fresh. We had a range of menu items and they were all brilliant. I had the fish and it was very fresh coming with a few different salads. The service was also great. No complaints and would be back next time we are there!

We stopped on our scoot around the island for a cheeky cocktail. Perfect seat overlooking the water. Service was fast and we watched all the delicious food come out to those around us. We wanted to come back for lunch but the days swimming got away with us. But happy hour is from 4pm- 6pm and the cocktails are delicious!

So donât go looking for pizzas at night as that is not an option. I had the lasagne at $20 but had to pay extra for salad. The boys all had steak and came out with mushroom sauce even though they ordered pepper so one had to be sent back as canât have mushrooms, waitress was great as she didnât take the order and fixed the problem.Hi there and thank you for your time. You came exactly in the first week of producing pizzas, when we had only one day of Pizza on tuesday, just to make people try. We advertised this fact literally everywhere. I apologize for the mistake of the pepper instead of mushroom, but I'm happy that the waitress fixed the problem as you said. I invite you to come again and give us the opportunity to earn a better review.

We had lunch here after checking out a few places in town which had very limited vegan options. Then we came along this gem.The food was fantastic, we ordered: vegan nachos, vege stack with tofu and vegan pumpkin and tofu curry.Food was well priced for a tourist area and tasted great. And it helped having multiple vege and vegan options!Definately worth checking out

We had breakfast here one morning. Cost the better part of 50+ dollars for two cooked meals and two coffees. Coffee was good and served promptly. Meals were large but as with other local places they'd run out of several ingredients. Firstly no prosciutto for my breakfast but replaced by bacon and then may wife was offered and accepted a bacon side order to be told when the meal arrived they'd run out of bacon. They offered a refund for the bacon.Expensive for what it was in my opinion.

So glad we gave this place a go!Friendly service from the owner, lovely view of the whales, fresh tasty food. Finding Nemo was a welcome lunch on our last day of the holiday. The mahi mahi was fresh tasty and the accompaniments complimented the fish. A shame that the only non undercover tables were smoking as the view from there and some warmth from the sun on the chilly day would have been spectacular. Friends who arrive at Raro next weekend will be advised not to miss this fabulous friendly eatery. Keep up the great work. Advise to book.
