Cafe Cristina is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We visited at lunchtime. Wide range of food is available, but I can particularly recommend the club sandwich and Cafe Cristina's signature iced tea (very refreshing). Decor is eclectic but very clean and the staff are friendly. Tip: if you are driving and park in the Lorrein Building car park, ask the cafe staff to sign your receipt and the parking fee will be waived. Thoroughly enjoyable experience, thoroughly recommended.
This is a new restaurant along Sumulong highway overlooking the city. It has a wider Metro Manila view than other Antipolo restaurants. I am always in the hunt for good fish and chips, and the one served here is good, although the serving is not big. We also tried the pork belly and burger, and both were good. Flavored beer is served. I tried the macadamia and found it ok for a change, though I found out that the beer's base was San Mig Light. The staff was very attentive. Overall, a nice restaurant to go to on weekends, either for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is also big enough to for group or family gatherings.
Stopped off at the Daily Beans in Antipolo on the advice of a friend. They served a good cup of Americano, blends, cappuccino and frappes served in the cutest mugs. If you're in need of a good cup of joe and also want to visit a cute city in the province of Rizal, then this is the place:)

We recently moved to the province of Rizal a little more than 6 months now and it is very difficult to look for a really good place to eat where you can bring friends or family that visit. Finally, we were able to discover Filio a few minutes away from our place. The ambiance is casual and inviting, even the owners. They serve a mix of Filipino and Western dishes with their own interpretation. The pork binagoongan was the first meal I ate there and it got me. The food was great, although, there was a time where they almost ran out of food to serve, reducing the amount of food in a dish I ordered. Nevertheless, I can still say that this is one of my go-to restaurants in Antipolo whenever I have guests over. Parking is easy as well.
Took 25mins to get one meal, another 5mins for their overpriced salad. They even forgot our third order, which was my husband's. We waited for nothing! There was an abundance of waiters but not a single one asked us if our orders were complete. The waiters were loudly talking with each other. Their manager was by the cashier but oblivious and didnt even notice that we"ve been waiting for our 3rd order which never came. When I followed up on this, the waitress just said "Ay, nakalimutan ko po yata isulat order ni Sir." I told her that we were famished and that I cannot wait for another 30mins for that. I told them to just cancel it. We shared the salad and a plate of tough beef meal. Total bill was P950. So tell me if this is worth your money? This was our first time in this resto. First impressions last and I dont think we'll ever come back. #poorcustomerservice #equals #badreview #lousywaiters #overpriced
We all have that one corner we go to when we want to be alone. It may not be the most comfortable place, but you always tend to go there when you need to.
Sulok Cafe had me at hello. The creative writing skills of Rods (one of the owners) is the reason why I get convinced to try the cafe. True enough, the ambiance gives justice to the article. Laid-back, simple, but with good good quality of food and customer service. The price range is the same with any other cafes that you can find in Antipolo, but the good customer service makes Sulok standout among other cafes.Suggested budget per person is P250-300.Sulok is just in front of Giants Bar and Restaurant beside Ynares Sports Center so it's not hard to find. =)

Me and my boyfriend celebrated our anniversary here. The ribs and the chicken were superb as well as the mushroom soup. The place is good, you can see them preparing your foods from your table because their kitchen is open so you'll be sure that your foods were all clean and well-prepared.

A small place and a bit crowded for me, too close to other diners. Well, I guess if it works, why not? But I think, when a big group of diners come in, they get behind, it's hectic for them. The food was simple Filipino fares, we had most of their local breakfast and most of it were not hot at all; even the French toast. I hate eating cold food, when it's supposed to be hot! ...We waited for our food for quite sometime, and even for the coffee was taking a long time to served? Perhaps they are having a bad day today? The rain wasn't helping at all for sure. I might try again next time though.

The "VERY GOOD" rating is for the overall ambience of this place tucked away somewhere in the hills of Antipolo. The place is essentially the pottery workshop of Lanelle Fernando- Abueva. One can view (and buy) her beautiful works and a few pieces by other Filipino artists. And a limited though special menu is served in the restaurant where the art works are displayed. The restaurant opens for lunch, mainly. If a number of guests are expected, a simple buffet is prepared usually including the signature alagao salad. Cannot say the salad was or will be my favorite. I am not really familiar with the alagao leaf that is used to wrap various "condiments." But the salad is certainly one-of-a- kind and original and interesting. I just prefer the common salad leaves, I guess. The other dishes are okay but not that excellent to write about. BUT, served inside an artsy, colorful place where you get glimpses of the surrounding trees and plants, is a nice experience on the overall.Go outside and explore the informal garden. The creative mind and eye of the artist is evident in various art installations using materials like used bottles, etc.Certainly one place where I would take a long-lost friend for a welcome respite from the city.
