Murielâs is always an old favourite of ours so called in for a couple of martinis and had the two platters one of cheese and one of hummus, just as a little nibble. Then we had to move table as where we were sitting had been previously reserved but that wasnât a problem. We moved on into the bar area and had our main courses all of which were great.Murielâs has a nice friendly âfront sitting roomâ feel. Always great staff excellent food and the cocktail list is wonderful

Popped in for a coffee to warm up after a wander around Botanic Gardens. Warm welcome from staff and recommendations from Sean Paul for a sweet treat which resulted in the largest slab of choc orange cheesecake for me (melt in the mouth delish) and a massive chunk of choc brownie for my friend. Will def be going back on my next visit to Belfast and highly recommend.

Four hungry people out for lunch and chat. Food ordered by a pleasant, patient, and helpful member of staff. Food ordered and generous portions were brought to the table. The food was hot, freshly made, and very very tasty. The restaurant was crowded and I believe this to be a good sign especially when the customers are also locals. Two of us enjoyed dessert which was ravenously gobbled down. Staff are excellent and the food likewise. Considering that we didnât pay as much as I would have expected I was amazed. Do I have any criticisms? Frankly no! This was the best meal I have had in a while so if you happen to be on the Lisburn Road get into the Mad Hatter for some amazing scoff!

I accidentally posted this review on Maggie Mays Botanic Cafe. We ate at Maggie Mays Stranmillis Cafe. Canât speak about Maggie Mays Botanic cafe. Discovered Maggie Mays Stranmillis cafe during our visit to Belfast last year, late breakfast. Had a wonderful fun experience. We really like the vibrant college ânot hipsterâ atmosphere. Food delicious and uncomplicated, serving size satisfying. Today, we were there for lunch. I ordered a peppered chicken and veggie soup. Good for a rainy day. Noticed at least 5 guys come in for milkshake take away orders. We came back 2 hours later and had the milkshake. Great way to end the day.

I had a good breakfast here, poached eggs, sausage and with toast and coffee. Unfortunately there were no clean tables. When the waitress was about to set the tray down I asked her to clean the table, well she cleaned most of it, then looked around at at least 5 other tables that needed cleaning, ignored them and went back to the kitchen. I was there for about half an hour and none of the tables were cleaned. I decided to write this because I see that management actually respond to complaints. I will definitely be back and hopefully this will be resolved.Hi Travellingsilent2019My name is Alan and I am the owner of the Causeway Cafe. If your visiting Belfast and want something to eat without fancy price tags the visit the West gourmet Sandwich Bar situated near the now famous Primark Building Castle St it has a great variety of hot and cold sandwiches panninis and a variety of other dishes for the on the go visitor and of course there is always the good old Ulster fry on offer for a reasonable £5.95 that's for the large BTW service as always in our City is friendly and you don't have to wait to long once your order is in only downside you may have to wait on a table especially on Saturdays but don't let that put you off as it wouldn't be long. So next time your in Belfast give it a try
