I visited hook & ladder for the first time at the weekend. Despite the staff being extremely busy - everyone we met still had a smile on their face and got us a table as soon as they could (we hadn't booked and didnt mind waiting). The menu had a wide selection and was very reasonably priced. We both had the full Irish breakfast and it was delicious and very plentiful. Our eyes were bigger than out bellies as we'd hoped to have coffee and one if their sweet treats after our brunch but we were too full after our full Irish. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

I recently stopped here while visiting Adare. It is a nice and quaint place to stop. Food and drinks reasonably priced. I stopped here for a quick coffee on the way home. It was lovely. Staff lovely too. I highly recommend stopping here while in Adare.

We have been eating here for the past three years and it keeps getting better. My grandchildren,who are picky eaters, adore the place and devour what they are served. Great value and lovely service. Will be back!
