We went as a family of 6 first for dinner to the pizzeria/bar and afterwards to the gelateria across the street. The pizza(s) were fantastic and perhaps the best we had so far. The creation was different as the cook is able to prepare each one according to the individual taste and believe me/us the taste was out of this world. In addition there was a sufficient wine selection and of course, all other drinks or cocktails were also available. All staff were more than friendly always with a big smile. After dinner we went across the street to the gelateriaand had our ice-cream which we then took back to the pizzeria. Again, what a great taste of ice-cream, any kind you want.Altogether it was a great, great evening and the bar/pizzeria and the gelateria are both worth a visit. You will hardly find anything better in Montepulciano or the area. Thanks to the whole team, we surely will come back!

Mi dispiace sempre quando devo scrivere recensioni negative , da premettere che era la mia seconda volta che andavamo in questa pizzeria ,la prima siamo rimasti delusi per la pizza (senza sale e poco lievitata) la pizza a dir di popolo e molto migliorata ma noi non l'abbiamo mangiata ,per questo siamo andati per gli antipasti e per il secondo ,antipasti buoni ,ma secondi molto cari (16 euro per la tagliata) ma la cosa e che la tagliata che mi hanno portato non era altro che una bistecca bassa ,dura e cucinata male , quello di mia moglie filetto alntartufo era una crema tipo fast food , non ci siamo proprio se non si migliora , si chiude!!

Cappuccino to stay for â¬1.30. Two size options to take. Yummy pastries for as little as â¬.50. I couldn't believe the fantastic prices!The gal and guy at the counter were business but friendly, too. There are a few tables inside and some outside seating. If we lived in Montepulciano, we would probably visit everyday. That's what we did during our stay in Montepulciano.

Opficio is in a smaller road between Piazza Grande and the Fort. Quieter than the main areas. Good selection of wine. Good beer a la spina, and always snacks. Really enjoyed our meal here. We originally booked a table to take in the spectacular view but it turned chilly so we asked to move further back, twice; no problem. Food was tasty, the room was charming but the friendly service really made it for us.
