Cute little restaurant with great service. A few beers to choose from and cold sake. Tea leaf salad was so fresh compared to other restaurants. Noodles and turmeric chicken fried rice were so good. Chicken curry was tasty too. Great place with reasonable prices.

Taste of Burma is located very close to Gellert blv. you shouldn't drive to big parking where majority of Asian restaurants are located. There are over 50 different dishes in menu with dish pictures on wall and in menu. They have Burmese lager beer that was very good. Dishes are small and not very tasty although our selection doesn't cover majority options what they have. It got obvious that noddle based dishes are better than others. I ordered shrimps with green beans and it was not great. Service is great and fast and restaurant was practically empty during our meal

As we walked in the chef greeted us from behind the counter of the open air kitchen. She told us someone would be right with us...friendly.For lunch we ordered fish curry, biriani rice, rainbow salad, and milk tea.The fish was sea bass in a great tasting red curry. The rice's flavor literally popped in my mouth as I bit into whole cardamon seeds...exhilarating. The flavorful salad was served over clear noodles. This place reminds me why I love dining in the bay area. Friendly service, great tasting food, with reasonable prices.
