A beautiful community pub in the heart of Chafford Hundred. Perfect for families and friends. Fresh food cooked to order and incredible Sunday roasts. Children and Senior menus also available. We also have dedicated menus for Gluten Free, Vegetarian and V
Didn't expect much when we stopped here for lunch, it was local we were hungry and time was not on our side. We decided to chance it and found the service excellent, food was served hot and fresh, price reasonable. Have been back several times since. It's nice to have this little gem on the doorstep.
Although not really heard much about The Crooked Billet food wise, we decided to have a family Sunday Lunch there. The food was superb but a bit disappointed that they run out of beef, otherwise everything was really good. The staff are both very friendly and efficient, would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful dining room.It is spacious and elegantly laid out with proper linen and cutlery. Extensive menu and wine list though inevitably prices are high. Excellent staff. This dining room is closed on Mondays but the alternative venue is more than adequate.

Ostlers Dining Room is the new restaurant and bar at the Bell Inn, an award wining 15th century coaching inn. The restaurant has an informal atmosphere with oak scrubbed tables, a stunning Oak wood bar serving cocktails and a conservatory with views out t
Not impressed with their toaster which only gave a 'warmth' to the bread, rather than any kind of colour. The granola advertised on the selection table didn't actually contain any 'granola', it was just yoghurt.Full English breakfast ok for meat eaters, but nothing offered for vegetarian apart from eggs on (pale) toast.Could do better.
