The UKs first grilled Cheese restaurant, serving up the ooziest grilled cheese sandwiches accompanied by the best northern soul tracks
As their takeaway in Church Street had a really long queue, we were directed to their new sit down restaurant in Tib Street. Totally brilliant. I had read about their creative and ingenious menus, but eating them took us to another level, We all ordered different varieties and everyone scored a Spinal Tap 11/10. Even the music in the background was banging. Amazing value for money. Whenever you come to Eric's own country, you have to make Northern Soul a must see/do

It all started here back in 1996 when Revolution Oxford Road first opened its doors. With intimate surroundings, an eclectic music policy and just a stones throw from Oxford Road Station and the Palace Theatre, Revolution is the ideal venue. Let the exper
Our first time visit here. We met our daughter here for a quick bite to eat before a show. Good atmosphere in the early evening. We were seated quickly and soon had a drink. The menu has a good variety and they kindly delivered the food at a certain time when our daughter arrived.Hubby loved the nachos starter. If you like a bit of kick with your food go for it! The burgers and pizza were also good.Big shout out to the loveliest employee, Issac. So cheerful and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Heâs a credit to the company.HI Sunnymorningsforever, thank you so much for your feedback and for taking the time to write us a great review! I'm so happy to hear you had a great time with us and we look forward to your next visit. See you soon!

Alston Bar & Beef is located on Cathedral St by Manchesterâs Corn Exchange and is the second restaurant we've launched after the success of the original Alston bar & beef in Glasgow. Our Tweed Valley beef comes from accredited farms in the Scottish Border
Being there for lunch, we got the 3 courses menu. All the food was very good and the steak was cooked at perfection. The venue is elegant with a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Great Service. Note that a 12.5% service charge in included in the bill, but it can be removed if desired.Hey Antotus! What an awesome review. Thank you so much! Steak is what we do best, so this really does mean so much to us :-) I'm pleased to hear you had such a lovely time, we look forward to seeing you again on the next occasion!Meg ALSTON MCR

First visit to this restaurant having been recommended by friends who have also previously enjoyed a great steak at another renowned steak establishment just off Deansgate which we also love to visit. The building is steeped in history and there was a good atmosphere although the restaurant was not particularly busy.We had a porterhouse to share which was very nice although slightly overcooked at one end. We had a portion of chips and a portion of creamed spinach to share. The chips were really tasty but oh my there were only a dozen which at £4.75 is not really acceptable. At the âother establishmentâ one portion was more than enough for two to share so if ordering at the Hawksmoor strongly suggest you order a portion each if youâre hungry !We ordered a 500ml carafe of Malbec which was really nice. What we didnât like was that our server didnât bring out the bottle to show us where the wine was coming from and then he just started to pour the wine not asking if we wanted to taste it. We stopped him and advised we wished to taste it to then be told we donât need to because the wine is really good. Needless to say we tasted it and yes it was good but we were surprised at this unprofessional approach and not the best start to what was otherwise a very enjoyable meal.Hello,Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Thanks also for your kind words - we're so lucky to call this beautiful building home, and I pleased that you enjoyed the atmosphere also. That said, I'm sorry to hear of the points you've highlighted about the food and wine. Whilst not a colossal deal, it's the little things that we strive to perfect daily, and it sounds like we missed the mark on this occasion. To best highlight this to the rest of the team here, it would be great if you could share your comments via email to [email protected]. I hope to hear from you again soon, and look to getting everything perfect next time.Dale

Called here following a days cricket at Old Trafford with my good lady. A very warm welcome, excellent fish meal and great service. It was so good we decided to re-visit the following evening. Jean again welcomed us but this time more like old friends and provided first class service, this time a non fish meal but still excellent.

Vintage Ambiance is a relaxed neighbourhood tea room by day and a modern restaurant by night. Open all day for breakfast, lunch, dinner & cocktails.
Decided to take a spontaneous trip to Vintage for lunch and was not disappointed. The waitresses very kindly put up with me moving to three different tables as I tried to find the one I felt most comfortable at, and were very efficient throughout my meal. I ordered the childrenâs chicken burger with fries, and it was SUCH good value for only £5!! A good-sized chunk of very thick and juicy chicken breast on a toasted English muffin - absolutely perfect, not greasy at all but cooked to perfection. The fries werenât skin-on fries like they used to do, but were still tasty nonetheless, and I was given a heaping mug full. Most importantly, it all came out piping piping hot, you could tell it was 100% fresh. Sidenote: I am glad I ordered the childrenâs burger, I saw the adultâs chicken burger come out and it looked very very big! (but I guess that just means even BETTER value for money!). Delicious food in generous quantities, no waiting around, lovely atmosphere, kind and attentive staff - what more could you ask for?!

Visited as a group of 8 and had a very entertaining time. As other reviews have commented the service is first class and we laughed from start to finish. Food was great, but only small quibble was it is described as tapas but I am used to tapas you share without having to cut your food up. Some dishes were very shareable but the pork belly not so.Great place to visit I will do so again for sure.Dear Peter G, It's wonderful to see that you will return to Albatross & Arnold and that your party of 8 had a great evening. We thank you for your review and feedback regarding the food and look forward to having you with us again soon. Kind regards,Sandra

It was 15:40 on a saturday, me and a friend was waiting for others to join us... so we sat in one of the booths with the bench seats with our drinks awaiting the others to arrive, having being sat there 10 minutes... a member of staff approached us and said we would have to move as the table was reserved, the table wasnt reserved at all... other tables where but not this one, so i oblidged and as i did do the crowd of about 15 plus walked over from opposite tables which is like one long table but i think its 3 pushed together, and said thanks for moving they need our tables soon... so whats that all about, moving on 2 people that was soon to be 8 to be replaced by 15 plus people... not happy and definately wont be in the bar again. We are so sorry to hear this. Due to the busy run up to Christmas we are extremely busy for Bottomless Brunch, especially on Saturdays. If you would like to discuss this further, please email us at;[email protected] Thanks,Emily
