The New Royal is a traditional British bar & restaurant, serving all your favourite British classic home-made dishes in a British atmosphere. The only minor details which give it away as being in Spain are the stunning sea views from the outdoor terrace an
We have always loved the New Royal (and given it 5 stars in the past) so made our way here when we wanted lunch. Not sure if it has changed hands but, we were really disappointed. We were looking forward to a menu del dia but this was no longer available, so ordered off the menu. As a novelty ordered a ploughmans lunch (don't seem to have these on the menu's in the UK anymore). Pickled onions were soggy and soft, cheese was 'sweating' so not sure if it had been stored in a fridge, the pork pie had soggy pastry, overall a very disappointing meal and not what were use to from the New Royal.
