Went for a breakfast due to the excellent ratings however, we were really disappointed with the breakfasts. We ordered two works and two traditional breakfasts. Considering they come across as being British breakfasts, the sausages were awful, the mushrooms were tasteless and the tea wasnât great either. Everything was swimming in grease, itâs a shame as we did have high expectations considering the ratings were good and it could have just been a bad day but we wouldnât be going back to try again.

Decided to call in for takeaway. Wish i hadnt bothered. I got fish and chips and my husband wanted pie and chips. No pies. They were waiting for them to come across from england. I asked for mushy peas and some curry sauce. The portion sizes were tiny. They were about the size of the little cups you get your meds in at a hospital and the curry sauce was like nothing i have ever seen or tasted from any chip shop in uk. It was vile. While we were there we thought we would ask about the sunday lunches that were advertised. We were told they werent doing them as they werent in season???We never went back to this 'traditional english chippy' again.

This is the worst place to eat in Cyprus! The service is awful. We were treated terribly! I ordered âvegetarian Thai pastaâ. I requested to make it not spicy. When I got it, it was very spice and had pieces of plastic in it. Do not recommend. Down the road thereâs Fly Again, Iâd rather go there.

On sunday 8/9/13,i went to a new establishment in latsi area of Cyprus called poppeye which specializes in seafood and in particular the English style fish and chips.I found the place to be very clean and morden in outlook,with outside seating area and wifi.The fish and chips I had was freshly cooked,and the chips were golden and crispy like it should be not the sogy chips you get served at other places.The lady owner Betsi is a very friendy and cheerful person,also very attentive.I highly recommend this place to come for a family meal,or group of people to enjoy the atmosphere and a tasty meal out,or takeaway your freshly cooked meal to eat at the comfort of your house or on the nearby beach.
