Had a great meal here for mothers day. The food was lovely, the staff polite and attentive and a great price. The Garret had gone to the effort of decorating the room and on leaving mum and I both received a packet of tablet tied up with a lovely Mothers Day ribbon which just finished off the meal perfectly.
We are an award winning cafe/Deli where All the food on our menu is made from fresh and wholesome ingredients which we get delivered daily. We prepare soup, sandwiches, salads, daily specials, baked potatoes from scratch to sit in and enjoy or take away.
My husband and I popped in to have lunch in the new sitootrie. They were very busy but we were quickly shown to a table and our order taken. Quite a few of the specials were already sold out but we managed to get the last two Turkey dinners. Well, what can I say? Our plates were loaded with turkey and all the trimmings and it was delicious. We certainly had value for money and really enjoyed our time in the lovely new extension. It was a cold day outside but warm and cosy inside. We will certainly be back for lunch and I have already been back with my sister in law for morning coffee and fresh scone.Thank you so much for the lovely review, we are glad you enjoyed your food and our new sitooterie. We look forward to serving you again

The public bar of the Waverley Hotel has the Spartan and generally unadorned decor I tend to associate with Scottish hotel public bars. There is no attempt at trendy pub fashion, and bars like this are unashamedly no more than functional drinking rooms. And to be perfectly honest, I found it a refreshing change and we enjoyed sitting at the bar for a pleasant pint while other likeminded folk did the same. We enjoyed good banter, and with good service, good beer and some decent music from the speakers it was very pleasant indeed. For an uncomplicated, lazy pint, this is a very good bar.Oh - and they also do Scampi in a basket - retro or what?

I visit here on a regular basis with both friends and family. Never really disappointed it is what it is.Today used the app for the first time which was simple, but having ordered before some people arrived, they were getting drinks and meals before me. Had to wait 15 mins for 2 x soft drinks and then another 10 mins before food arrived, baked potato and kids fish and chips.Wasn't in a hurry and used app as didn't want to leave daughter at table by herself. Will be back again as one of the cheapest places to eat in Peterhead.

Sit in & take-away in Peterhead. Full breakfast, soup, burgers, omelettes and much more!!!
Went here today at lunchtime with 3 grandchildren. The seating is comfortable and the (only) waitress was pleasant. The menu is basic cafe fare - bacon rolls, paninis, burgers, sandwiches, etc. There was a kids menu with chicken nuggets and the like but the waitress was happy to provide sausages and chips which was not on the kids menu. The food was cooked to order but came on cold plates. My vegetarian burger was very average but everyone else was happy with their food. The food was not expensive.Overall, this is a pleasant enough cafe if you don't mind the basic menu.

Went for a takeaway three fish supper, mushy peas ended up with two fish suppers, one fish and NO peas whatsoever, worst fish supper I have had in ages, everything was swimming in grease, batter was so soggy as were the chips, total waste of money, will not be back

Having read the reviews we decided to eat here. We did not to have a starter as there was not much on the menu to our liking, so we ordered a main, the haddock and prawns. We were still waiting after 45 mins and when it arrived the fish was overcooked and the potatoes still hard so I decided to send it back. Unfortunatey, we were unable to wait any longer for more food so paid our bar bill and had to leave. The young chef did come out and apologise to us.

Booked late and they accommodated my single table with good organisation and communication. 3 course Sunday menu at £24.95 including a good old fashioned carvery trolley. Great service by the 3 members running the bar and food operation. Nice g and t with the glass being taken to my table when starter was ready. Good melon plate followed by main carved from the trolley, nice beef and pork with lots of veggies (roasts needed much more cooking though!). Finished off by a nice and rather large portion of pud!Fantastic value and service and it pays to book ahead.Recommended.

The center of peterhead is not synonymous with inviting. But this little family run tea room is. The atmosphere is refined country kitchen style. The staff are very pleasant and you can get a nice toasted sandwich. Where the cafe sets itself apart is in its traybakes, which I have never had anywhere else, because they are their own original recipes. The size of the bake is large and it's not unusual to see somebody 'keeping a bit for later'. The cafe will also let you just buy a bake to take away and I believe they will also do catering.

Went to the Seaview last night. First time since it re-opened with friends and it was amazing!! I had the monkfish from the specials menu and it was the best I had tasted in years. Everyone was delighted with the mains and dessert. The chef did a great job. Service was excellent with no rush to leave. Will definitely be back soon!
