Clean, warm, cosy, friendly, relaxing , set in the beautiful old village of Hurley. The village dates back to 700 ad and is recorded in the Domesday, the old church is still standing which was once the nave to the old Priory until 1536 when Henry Vlll dis
We gave advance notice that our local walking group would like to have lunch after our walk in the area, and gave them our food order in advance, single course light meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and coped very well with some last-minute extra walkers, resulting in 22 of us sitting down together to eat. Despite the large number, drinks were served quickly and the food arrived promptly. It was good value, tasty and with generous portions.

I was delighted to recently discover this place was only a 5-10 min drive from home. To fully appreciate the pub I think its useful to know a little about who owns the pub and how they manage it. It's very interesting! Service (from the owners various offspring) was friendly and polite. The atmosphere was classy, but informal. Nice, tiny but cosy bar for a pre dinner drink just off the main room with around 10 tables. My main grumble I'm afraid is the steep prices. The food was good, no question about that. But relatively simple. With mains floating around the £30 mark I just wasn't as impressed as I thought I might be. My rabbit pate starter was exceptionally small. My other slight gripe is the menu. We dined in the height of summer so were quite surprised to find venison pie, slow cooked lamb (it was delicious though) and treacle pudding on the very small menu. I don't know, maybe I'm being picky. I just didn't come away feeling that we got value for money here. Definitely worth a try if you can afford it.

The Pinkneys Arms is nestled in the heart of Pinkneys Green near Maidenhead. We run a friendly pub serving excellent quality food complimented by a wide selection of real ales and fine wines.
I tend to be a creature of habit with my local pubs / dining.. if it's not broke etc.I've been visiting The Pinkneys Arms for a year or two now having moved into the area recently. The guys have really got this place sorted and consistently hit high levels of service and quality... Terrific seafood and the best Sunday roasts around...The atmosphere is friendly and the place is clean and comfortable, highly recommendedThank you for leaving us this 5 star review, we sincerely appreciate it.We have worked extremely hard to keep standards high over the last few years and believe our food is some of the freshest and finest quality available - so, it's a pleasure to read you feel the same way!We appreciate the kind words with regard to the atmosphere and levels of cleanliness too.Thank you and we hope to welcome you back soon

The staff were very friendly, one guy in particular (didn't catch his name) was knowledgable about the drinks they serve and was very helpful. There was a guy who it seemed like it was his first day, bless him he was getting barked at from all directions from I guess the landlady. Felt a bit sorry for him.Nice beer garden, food looked appetising.

Visiting our son in Berkshire, three generations enjoyed lunch at the beehive. I had rabbit lasagne, ox cheek with mash and veg, followed up with chocolate fondant and ice cream, it was all beautifully cooked and presented and utterly delicious. Much better than your usual "pub grub"The staff were terrific and the old pub had a nice ambiance. Would love to visit again when we return Berkshire. Well deserving of five stars.

The staff accommodated the Reading Christian Walkers at lunchtime on Saturday 17th August very well. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. I enjoyed the cod and chips. The serving of food and drinks and individual paying of bills afterwards went seamlessly. Thanks for your comments, we are well used to large groups, and are glad that you enjoyed your visit.CheersLuke

This rates as one the best meals of all time. Every course was superb. The scallops were light and so tasty. My Short Rib was slow-cooked and succulent, and the Passion Fruit Cheesecake was light and wonderful. Even the petit fours were excellent: a passion fruit marshmallow and coconut sweet were subtle and so tasty. We couldn't fault it and couldn't remember when we had last had such a great meal. Service was attentive and efficient. We'll be back.

We had such an amazing visit here today. The food was just incredible and nothing was too much effort for the staff. My husband had the normal menu but they managed to do mine competition dairy free with only a couple of very minor differences. Most of which could neither be seem nor tasted and wow the food was good! Neither me nor my husband drink alcohol but again the staff provided us with an alcohol free pairing of drinks for our meals which tasted delicious and fit with our meals perfectly! We cannot thank the staff enough especially liam who went the extra mile for us and had a little tag made especially for us to take home for our cat to wear, as well as a special money box for my husband with the springboks rugby team logo on for him to store his coin in during the meal. Such a wonderful day out for us and a meal we will never forget. Thank you all for making it so psecial for us.
