There is little non-pub choice in quiet Ederney, so we tried The Diner one afternoon. It's on the Castlederg road, a few metres from the town crossroads. There is parking on the street nearby.It's a small, cosy place with rapid, friendly service, newspapers and a traditional Café offering, concentrating on Ulster fries and burgers. Unusually, scampi and wraps are available in what is a surprisingly wide menu.We had the "small" fry - a large meal, including chips, two rounds of toast each and a pot of tea. All fine, but the primary reason for the "excellent" rating is the value......Under £8 for two filling meals !!!I'm accustomed to paying about £10 for two coffees and pastries at any of the big coffee chains. Don't call this a "greasy spoon"; rather, "outstanding value".

A colleague and I popped in to the Taphouse for a quick lunch while on a business trip to Enniskillen. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was fast. There is a reasonable lunch menu; I opted for the Pork Sandwich and my colleague had the âLunch Wingsâ. Both dishes were tasty and the staff made a point of asking if everything was okay, which it was. This is a good spot for lunch, although it is a bit out of town.

i booked with the proviso that we had only from 5.30 to 7.15 as we had a meeting. the service was slick and charming, the staff included chefs wife and a newly qualified dentist, the menu was small so reassured us that the food would be fresh cooked,the little touches of beautiful homemade fine crisps a tiny little home made mini loaf, and a delicious water ice between courses, we chose duck pettifer, which was dainty and full of flavour for my husband , followed by hake , properly cooked and beautifully presented, my baked beetroot with goats cheese and tiny squares of beetroot jelly was very moreish i was introduced to strip loin which was a good size sirloin with all the inedible parts removed, also flavoursome and well dressed, sugared carrots parsnip and i think turnip and soft creamed potato and 2 scrumptious panacottas and a glass of wine each and we were leaving at 7.15 on the dot a truly delightful experience, which we will be repeating again as soon as we can.

Had dinner as part of our package in the Lough Erne Resort. The surrounding were lovely, facing into sunshine over the lake. Menu good and service good a little slow but it is a fine dining experience. Food was very good but like the resort a bit on the pricey side but worth a visit.Good morning Geojon and thank you very much for writing your review after your recent fine dining experience at the Catalina restaurant. I am delighted that you enjoyed the food and were able to take in the beautiful views of the lough from the restaurant. I do apologise as the service you received was a little slow on that evening, but glad that it did not spoil your experience. This is, to date, the best hotel I have used in NI. In scenic Fermanagh, in woodland and by Lough Erne, this former WW2 American airforce base and country house still oozes History and country charm. The large bedroom had the biggest bed I have ever slept in with an oversized TV and a TV above the bath for bath and bubble viewing. Decor was a mix of modern, classic with luxury. There was no shortage beverage faculties and biscuits! Staff had stereotypical Fermanagh charm and welcome. Food was delicious, well presented and locally sourced - generous portions too. The interior was stunning - a mix of the old Manor House with an grand extension of bedrooms, conference rooms and a wedding wing. The grounds outside by Lough Erne and in woodland, were perfect for laps before breakfast and beautifully maintained. Truly beautiful.

Seven of us celebrated my daughter's birthday in style at this excellent restaurant. All chose the £15 two course option. The steaks were listed as 'mini 8oz' but they looked more like 12oz and were cooked to perfection. Add to that the garnishing and sauces and we had a meal to remember! Service was brilliant, from the manager who took our order to the staff who served it and the waitress who brought in the cake and took photos of the occasion. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. Add to that a relaxed atmosphere and an unhurried ambience and you have a perfect evening.

We had a very enjoyable stay for 4 days in a friendly atmosphere. The room was very good - particularly for someone with a disability - as it was a downstairs room. Very clean and inviting. The meals were excellent and were served by very friendly, staff who gave us a feeling of being "Family". We were there to do some family research and the staff were always happy to assist us with suggestions of names and places, and also provided us with some information books. We would have no hesitation in returning to Mahon's hotel in the future.

With not so many proper restaurants in the area I cant understand why the place is only opened from Wednesday. We waited for the glorious day and quite frankly it wasnt worth the wait. Food was rather unbalanced flavour wise. A bit disappointing

We have been here on a few occasions and have been very pleased. Sunday lunch was excellent and there were 18 of us after a Christening, Big portions of good home cooked food. The stuffed turkey and ham was delicious and I was told the roast beef melted in the mouth..Food was piping hot and all served at the same time. Very reasonably priced too. A busy spot so on a Sunday probably advisable to book. Looking forward to our next visit.

Molly's is the latest incarnation at this premises in Tempo. It was previously a much-loved Spanish restaurant. There is street parking near the door.We four arrived early on a quiet Wednesday evening for the £15 steak and a bottle of wine between two.It was excellent. The steaks were perfectly cooked, and the sides, from sweet potato fries to the garlic potatoes were just as good. The servings of these are very generous!We were surprised how good the wines were, particularly the red; a quality Bordeaux.Desserts were great, especially the Meringue; it tasted like the best of home-made.Service is excellent.For a value, quality meal in East Fermanagh Molly's is hard to beat.
