A FINE FRENCH RESTAURANT We're a foodie's destination, where refined tastes visit for our flavour-intense cooking - and return for the service they've enjoyed. We believe it's our mission to surprise and delight, and ensure everyone walks out with a smile
We go every couple of months or so for the Simply Squiffy Sunday special. The food is delicious but itâs the staff who really make this. They canât do enough for you and are always friendly. We had a slight error on our bill and it was rectified in seconds. No fuss. Canât recommend this little gem enough.

Licenced Café Bistro & Bistro by Night. With a complete renovation and new menu the current proprietors of the Lantern have truly shaken off its old 'chip shop cafe' persona. Clean, bright and welcoming the cafe bistro by day produces excellent breakfast
A few years back my family and I visited Lanter O'er Lune and loved it. My son then enjoyed the gammon special and is his happy memory of this visit. We have been back each year since then. Today we visited again. No Gammon today. The excellent waitress explained why and he opted for the Cumberland sausage special instead. Excellent food and service as ever and a real highlight of our holiday to visit again. Thankyou.Hi RobertSo good to see you again (and how much your son as grown since he first tackled that huge gammon :-)Hope on this occasion he enjoyed his Cumberland just as much! Thank you for taking time to leave us a review and I guess we'll see you next year!Kindest regardsJonathon & Mel

We had lunch at Grafters Cafe Heysham today. It looks like a transport cafe at first glance but donât be put off. Inside dining room is very nice and thereâs outdoor seating where we sat. Staff are very nice and the food we had was excellent. I had the small breakfast but wish Iâd ordered the big breakfast it was so nice. My wife had a jacket potato with tuna. Also very nice. Served with mugs of tea that were also very good. Wouldnât hesitate to return or recommend Thank you for such a lovely review. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again soon.

We were doing a walk from a book that highly recommended The Curiosity Corner Tea Rooms but for some reason they were closed so we tried the Old Barn cafe next door. Perhaps we just caught the cafe at a very busy time but it took 25 minutes before we received our food. My bacon and sausage bub contained one piece of bacon which was (and tasted) burnt and 2 sausages cut in half

We stood outside Costa on a blustery, rainy Thursday last week and decided to stick to our pledge of buying from an independent whenever possible. We were lucky enough to find Kerry's where the welcome was warm and genuine, and the hot chocolate and americano, both perfect. Long live The Independents!

The Sun Terrace Restaurant serves up contemporary cuisine in a relaxed, debonair environment. Boasting magnificent sea views, it's ideal for busy business brunches as well as intimate dinners. We serve British classics prepared using local produce from La
Visited whilst staying in the hotel. We enjoyed a few of the dishes we selected eg the lamb and cheese selections but were somewhat disappointed in others eg the soup, chicken and sticky toffee pudding. In particular the use of herbs was too much for our palates.Service was fine and of course the views over the bay are great. All in all we felt the experience was somewhat average.

A traditional fish and chip take away with a modern stylish cafe with waiter/waitress service.
Picked Atkinsonâs for our last dinner in the UK - you haberdashery to have fish n chips at the seaside! Nice fish, well cooked and not greasy. Pies and scampi also nice and the chips were excellent. A very enjoyable meal.

Close to the Historic City of Lancaster and the breathtaking views of Morecambe Bay lies the quaint village of Heysham. Deep in the oldest part of the village, nestling beside the Church of St Patrick, the Royal Hotel is a wonderful, traditional pub boast
The Royal has been refurbished in recent years to provide comfortable dining for many people, both inside and outside. The menu is interesting and portions are generous. All our choices were delicious. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The Royal is a really good option for all day quality dining.
