Hamford View tea room & activity centre is located in 6.5 acres with stunning views to the sea. The vintage tea room provides light lunches, home made cakes cooked daily, and ice cream sundaes. Activities include paint your own ceramics, acoustic music ev
Having heard quite a few positives about these tea rooms, decided to call. Tea was traditional with leaves, even my peppermint tea, in tea pots with tea strainers. Very 50s, quiet and relaxing, no banging background music. Lovely location. Will visit again to enjoy tea in the garden. Also, crafting for children I believe. Recommend visiting.

Visited The Crown Post for a family meal whilst in the area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were seated upstairs. Good choice of food which was excellent and reasonably priced, as was the drinks. We definitely return when next in the Area.

The redefined brasserie is located on the first floor of the completely modernised 1860 listed building in historic Harwich. Experience all-day dining (all-year-round) and outdoor dining - whenever the sun shines - with a menu celebrating modern classics,
Enjoyed a very pleasant meal here on a quiet Monday evening. A separate vegetarian and vegan Menu is available as the main menu has limited options in that department. Whilst the options were limited they are imaginative and there was enough variation to offer a good choice of options. Service was good and attentive. excellent range of gins as well. Definitely a fine dining venue and quite expensive but the perfect place to a treat.

We were looking for a nice place to eat before taking the boot back when we found this lovely restaurant! Even though it was a Saturday evening, the waiters worked hard to find us a place and were incredibly welcoming and kind. They made our evening! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food was good. I would definitely recommend this place.

We came here after it being recommend. When you first walk in, you will get the feeling that it's very small but don't be put off. We were taken through to the restaurant at the back, it only seats about 30 people. The menu choice is very good, you also have a specials board available, they have burgers, pies, fish, steaks and much more choice. I had the chicken, ham and leek pie, it was lovely, my niece had the sausage and mash and she said the sausages were amazing. The service was very efficient, we could see into the kitchen, I'd say it all looked very clean and looked after. We didn't have pudding as we were going out for a few drinks after the meal. I'd say give this place ago you will not be disappointed.

Situated on Ha'penny Pier with stunning views. A wonderful spot for al fresco dining and on those cooler days the ideal place for a great breakfast, bowl of homemade soup or coffee and cake. Harwich is full of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. The Caf
A lovely cafe which was doing a roaring trade on this sunny August day. They have a few indoor tables and more outside, overlooking the LV18 lightship, sadly closed due to extreme temperatures below decks on the day we visited. Quaint historic pier with views over the Stour estuary. We had the all day breakfast (one veggie and one standard) which was served promptly and with a smile by the friendly and cheerful staff. They have quite a wide menu for the size of the cafe, including salads, fish, ploughmanâs, sandwiches, lasagne, jacket potatoes and toasties. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the north east end of Harwich.

The New Bell Inn is an award winning public house. Our kitchen is open lunchtimes only offering a wide range of meals prepared on the premises. The bar served quality locally-brewed ales, primarily from Essex and Suffolk as well as fresh ciders. Quality l

Seaside Cafe/Restaurant, serving freshly cooked food, freshly ground coffee, beer and wines available.
Went here on Saturday 6th July before watching a game at Harwich & Parkeston FC. We arrived at 12:30, loads of parking. First on the menu (English Breakfast) stops at Midday so we missed that but was able to get an English Bap with Sausage, Bacon and Egg so all good . Baps were really nice and staff very friendly. very clean and nice atmosphere.

Arlingtons Restaurant and Cafe is located in the most beautiful, historic and iconic building in the heart of Ipswich, Arlingtons is a great destination any time of day, from a relaxing morning coffee through to evening dining and drinks. Our âsmall plate
Nice place but overpriced. £7 for a granary roll with very little filling apart from a stack of mayonnaise accompanied by a tiny pot of coleslaw. Don't think I will be visiting again.
