We arrived at the cottage at 3 o'clock, we sat outside for 15 mins and no one came to serve us.. So we went inside and the small room full, two ladies were serving.Three tables were not cleaned down and 6 people waiting to be seated eventually we got to sit, 3 30 now and no order taken. So we ordered our food! I asked for the chicken and himself had beef, well it took another half an hour for our food to be served no one was rushed off their feet or anything like that. Have to say the food was really nice. Having worked as chief in a busy kitchen myself, I think the chef in this kitchen needs to work a little faster! as we witnessed people leaving the outside dining area.Disappointing.Thankfully the food was nice! As you saw, we are a small restaurant, seating only 25 clients and our kitchen is smaller than most household kitchens at 14 square metres. I don't how much use we got of the terrace today as the daytime weather was iffy and it's chilly tonight but they turned the tables between 8 and 10 times in 12 hours. No bad going! I'm just checking the cctv and will point out your waiting times to the staff, once I've clocked them

Eddys has to be the best Full English around here, we're staying at Club Praia da Oura. Bit of a pain they wont accept card payments, but not to much.It gets busy, always a sign of a good and popular place. Nice staff and very attentive. Good to have a decent coffee as it's been a struggle to get one around here.We'll be back.

Fairly standard selection of cafe food catering towards the English. Super Bock draft beer on tap with fair selection of other bottled drinks. Two TV's with Sky.Friendly service, reasonable prices.For what it is, I would rate it 3.5 out of 5 but I can't.

We went here every day for breakfast whilst on holiday apart from one day when it was closed for maintenance work.The guy who runs it (I think I overheard that is name is Sunny) is friendly, attentive and very welcoming, the food is lovely and very well price, Would I recommend this place, yes I definitely would, great little find.

British style menu at reasonable prices and the bonus that my vegan wife and daughter could choose an actual meal, rather than just chips.My chilli was good, much tastier and cheaper than the one with my tacos the night before, that cost twice the price.Football on and a pool on site if you fancy it. Highly recommend. Also noticed they have a sister bar at the marina if you are out and about

Found the Red Lion while just walking around on second afternoon, what a proper family run bar with good beers, all the sport on and excellent food.Missing the beer battered chicken strips but not Butch's chilli shots! keep up the good work Butch, Leslie and family, I will be back!

Went for late lunch on a Sunday and well impressed with the food and the service were very good, caught the end of the lady playing the music and it suited the mood of the restaurant did not get to again unfortunately.

Amazing food especially the steak pie been coming here for several years now. Sam and soul have built a great menu at great prices. Andy the bar man/waiter always has a smile and is very helpful and polite. Had a full English breakfast which was excellent. Would recommend anyone to this great place. See you all on my next visit, Iâll have the steak pie as usual please Andy

Really big portions. Sorry I had a starter once I saw the main course. I had a steak and it was huge and so tasty, cooked to perfection (med-rare). My wife had fish and that was huge too, she couldnât finish it. Absolutely no room for a desert. Bill about â¬40 including half litre of wine. Book in advance if you get the chance. Itâs busy because itâs good.
