Join us for a traditional Cream Tea (£8.90 for 2)or treat yourself to a Vintage Afternoon Tea (£19.50 for 2) - Scones baked daily and always a choice of homemade cakes. Our Tearoom is very quaint & welcoming, or if sunny why not sit in our courtyard garde
We can honestly say the best tearooms we have found in Kent no exaggeration! All staff were really friendly and efficient even though it is a really busy popular place. We sat in the pretty courtyard garden and had a vintage afternoon tea. Real loose leaf tea, lovely vintage China and cutlery, exceptional scones, clotted cream and jam home made cake and sandwiches. We were offered more hot water to top up the tea and could have stayed as long as we wanted to as no rush to move us on even though the table could have been used. We will return!

Went for the first time Saturday night. Very old pub in small village. There is a snooker table right by the bar which had a noisy crowd although not the fault of the pub. Three tables ordering food but still waited three quarters of an hour before our order was taken and onother hour before it actually arrived. The food when we eventually got it was very good. All veg was fresh and pies looked home made. The meals are extremely large though so wouldnât advise having a starter. Unfortunately nobody came back to ask if we wanted desserts or coffees until we prompted them. On saying that, staff were friendly when you finally got to see them.

Arrived for the Alpaca Annie trek early and grabbed a quick coffee here to keep warm. Coffee was great, service was friendly and we were offered food but declined as we'd already eaten. Menu looked good though, so would consider it next time we're in the area!

Our cafe / restaurant is licensed and is primarily english home cooked food. We have a good range of vegetarian dishes and winter specials when available
Popped in for late lunch/early dinner. The fussy 10 year old couldnât find a meal so the lovely owners said they would do anything she wanted. So cheesy chips, southern coated chicken and beans, she ate the majority of it. The fish and cheesy chips was ample my grandson said itâs the best fish heâs had !! Egg bacon and cheesy chips- huge amount of chips. Mushroom omelet, perfectly cooked that with a jacket potato was very filling. The sundae deserts are big enough to share. This place certainly gives you value for money. The owners are so nice and welcoming. An added bonus is they take cards Weâll definitely be back. Thanks very much for your kind review. We do are utmost to accommodate every taste so please don't hesitate to ask for any variations of our menu.Once again many thanks

My wife and I went for lunch today. What a lunch it was. I had topside of Beef and the wife had pork. The portions were enormous, superbly cooked and presented and well worth the £13 per meal. There were various options on the âSpecials boardâ and menu to suit all tastes. If you want good food friendly service then you will not be disappointed. It well worth a visit. However, I would suggest you starve yourself before you go or ask for a doggy bag. We will definitely return.

Eat, Drink & Stay with us at this small family run business lead by good wholesome food, fine wine and ales
We stayed within a short walk ofthe The Ship Inn and couldnât believe our luck that we had this on our doorstep. Beautiful decor, warm welcome and friendly staff. We ate here on 3 consecutive nights and enjoyed the food. A couple of options were not available but were still showing on the specials board, only reason this isnât scored higher. I would definitely return as we were made to feel very welcome, that and the very tasty duck and olive ragu! Thanks everyone at the Ship.

Fish & Chip Restaurant & Takeaway
Had scampi asked if it was whole tail which the young lady didnât know and had to check quite a delay for food to arrive. Had to ask for sauces as none on the table food mediocre chips on the cool side far far too much salad garnish especially on the chees burger on both roll and side of plate. Really donât think we would both again for the price

We are a traditional tea room with only home-made cakes and pastries which are baked on the premises by Mary herself, we offer a selection of light lunches prepared to order and which varies daily. The tea room itself has been thoughtfully decorated to en
After hopping off the little train we looked for a nice lunch somewhere. Always tricky when weâve got our little dog with us. And we didnât want chips! Well, what a gem we found. Maryâs Tea Room is beautiful. The decor is so pretty. Love the tea cups hanging from the chandelier. And they allowed pup to come in. (He is very tiny and very good)We had a really nice lunch. The menu is simple but it is more than adequate. The girls serving were very polite. Wish we had one like this closer to home.
