Under new managment, our cafe will be opening on the 26th of March with a new menu and a lick of paint. We are opposite the 'Falls of Foyers' in Foyers, inverness. We are open daily, year round. Fabulous freshly brewed cappuccino, latte, espresso and amer
Located midway between Inverness and Ft Augustus on the southern side of Loch Ness in made a perfect lunch stop with lots of tasty options and friendly staff. The hardest part was choosing from the homemade cakes and slices They even made a great flat white. A walk down to the waterfall across the road made the desert guilt free.

Didnât visit the centre but went to Cobbâs cafe and bistro. Good range of lunch fare including sandwiches, soup and paninis, available until 2pm. We arrived at 2:03pm and asked if we were too late to order paninis. A member of staff said they would check. They returned from the kitchen to say that they were sorry but the kitchen staff had just turned everything off. We accepted that and bought some (warm) soup instead. However four more tables were served paninis after we had sat down, meaning the âpanini-making machineâ had not been switched off and to add insult to injury, the very same member of staff who had lied to our face sat down at the table next to us at 2:30 with a freshly cooked panini to eat. We would have accepted the line âno more orders for hot food food after 2pmâ without question as that is what was advertised but we take exception to dishonesty and, as such will not be making a return visit.

A well-known artisan pottery with a walkers cafe by the Great Glen Way and below a popular mountain path. Teas, good coffee, hot chocolate and Marion's amazing home-made cakes. Open most of the year - ring first in foul weather.
During day 2 of or GGW trek we stumbled upon this quirky little gaff! After following in anticipation the âNearly thereâ signs excitement grew amongst our team! Set in amongst the trees we were greeted by fantastic staff who shared witty banter. 20 quid of uncle Mikes hard earned cash bought five of us 3 of my favourite things, tea - cake & a cheeky short cut back on to the great glen way through his garden! Highly recommend this for refuelling stop and looking at other comments they do have a little dog who was totally placid, clearly he enjoyed the variety of cake as well!! Defiantly a must stop! How very kind of you to write nice words. I have to say that the dog is not native to the Clay Works, and the main furry denizen is a cat of mighty parts and shameless habits! Come and see us again with our without Uncle Mike, God bless him!
Weâve gone to the ness deli/cafe and Loch Ness inn, and both were really busy. Came up here and we were alone! Not sure why. The staff were really attentive and the food was really good. The inside is quite charming. Of course, itâs next to Nessie Land which is really cheesy (and possibly a deterrent for some) and kind of loud early in the day but not an issue in the evening. Perhaps itâs because it isnât as visible but itâs just a short walk over the bridge from the green to access. Would absolutely recommend the 2 extra minutes on foot to avoid the crowds down below.

With stunning views of the Castle and Loch Ness, this is the perfect spot to sit and relax after a hard day of Nessie spotting! We have an array of teas & coffees, perfectly accompanied by a treat from our cake table or perhaps a scone which are made dail
Arrived towards the end of lunch service but there was still plenty of healthy options. The kids menu (which seems to be in other tourist spots) worked really well, allowing for the choice of five different items. The panini was lovely and fresh. The layout allowed people threw quickly.

Benleva Hotel Restaurant focuses on warming Scottish meals, with a fantastic specials selection. We are available for Breakfast to Non-Residents between 8am and 10am. Lunches are served between 12pm and 3pm and Dinners between 5pm and 9pm.
Excellent food on both visits. Lunch time staff was excellent. 10/10 Night staff let the place down. Mixer was flat in my drink and the Guiness poured too quickly. Staff could take lessons from day staff. Value for money and pleasant atmosphere on both visits

Weâve visited the Loch Ness Inn several times over the years. We love the ambience of the place, and the service is always perfect, super-friendly. Tonight we felt the food was perhaps not quite up to itâs usual standard, and itâs rather expensive actually. It IS a huge tourist destination area though and I would charge a premium if I ran a restaurant there too, so fair enough. The meat in the steak & ale stew was beautifully cooked but very over-seasoned. Chips were small and over-cooked. Others in my party said the food was âfineâ, but it was a lot better than fine the last time we were there. Coconut panna cotta didnât have much flavour at all, Iâm not sure it had sugar as an ingredient at all? You did get some sweetness from the mango sorbet which came with it. All in all, just a little bit disappointed tonight with the flavours & some of the execution. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed by your recent visit to the Loch Ness Inn, I have passed your comments onto the kitchen.

Stopped for a quick lunch after searching for Nessie on the loch. Food portions were generous and of good quality. Service was also excellent - the cafe was very busy but despite this the staff were very attentive and we felt well looked after.

Went to Fiddlers whilst on holiday cruising the Caledonian canal. Its about a 20 minute walk from the mooring at Urquhart bay. We hadn't booked but we were dining early so managed to squeeze in - would recommend booking as its relatively small. They serve a good amount of local beer and ales and have a very extensive whisky menu - so much so, they have a food menu created to have with a dram pf selected whiskies.Mains of lamb cooked two ways and Loch Ness cider pork belly were very tasty with big portions. The Fruit Pavlova came with a huge meringue and a lovely fruit compote - again all desserts had a recommended dram !Service was warm and friendly - overall a nice dinner is a traditional pub. Well worth a visit.
