Brewing is at the heart of the business and our JW Lees cask ales are always very popular with regulars and visitors alike. Our back bar is filled with premium spirits and quality world wines for all tastes. We serve pub food favourites from our hearty Wi
We visited here one Sunday lunchtime. I cannot comment on the Sunday lunch as all who ate chose from the main and children's menu. The variety was good and meals were ordered. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and when the food was brought to the table, the adults was brought first slowly followed by the childrens. The portion sizes were something to be desired. We left feeling hungry, had the price of the food been less, it would have been understandable, however the food is quite pricey for the average pub grub you receive. Not somewhere I would recommend nor visit again. Hi LisaThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to see you didn't enjoy your visit. If it's not too much trouble I would really appreciate the opportunity to discuss it further. If you could email me some more details about your experience I would be very grateful. [email protected]. I hope this doesn't put you off trying us again in the future, Kind regards, Joe

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will. Beefeater b
Tonight's meal has been so lovely. We came tonight without booking (Friday night) table given straight away. We came with our 20 month old son. Service was amazing. Staff were so friendly they even toke time to say hello & talk to my son. Which I thought was lovely. Food was so tasty & hot I ordered the steak pie with horseradish mash with seasonal vegetables. My partner ordered the fillet steak which was cooked just perfectly which was medium rare along with unlimited chips & peppercorn sauce. His plate was empty. My son had the tomato penne pasta with chicken meatballs corn on the cob & cheesy garlic bread. He also enjoy his tea. Ended up asking for another corn cause the fist was demolished. We have had such an lovely service tonight & will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you Kayleigh for such a great service.

Traditional Inn serving great food and a tempting range of quality cask ales the regularly change and wines served by the glass or by the bottle. We also have a range of Gin. Large garden and patio areas for the Summer time
Visited The Rising Sun for a family birthday meal.Staff were friendly and helpful, our food & drink order was taken within a short period of time and served to our table all in reasonable timescales. The food was really lovely, all very freshly prepared, generous portions and great value - highly recommend the slow cooked lamb pie.Only thing I could say is it was a little cold in the pub so maybe a low heating would have been nice but other than that, it's a great pub doing a great job and we'll definitely visit again soon Thank you for the great review and really constructive feedbackSee you again soonTTFNMartin

Dined on a Friday evening. Very nice place & food was delicious. Lovely menu, had some difficulty choosing. Fillet of Beef cooked to perfection (medium/rare) & beautifully presented. Chicken main with the citrus fruits was unusual but so tasty. Everything freshly cooked & hot. Service with a smile. We were just passing through but would dine here again in a flash.

On 9th January Jackie & Kevin finally left The White Lion. The reins were handed over to Jackie Stubbs, who has worked at The White Lion since 2005, so knows the place and the regulars inside out. We of course wish her every success. Beautiful country pub
Booked a large table for my mums 50th birthday and were given almost the whole conservatory, with no need for deposit! We were able to dress the room prior & provided a list of mains which were prepared and came our all together. Amazing considering it was all fresh, home-cooked food. Loved it!

We called in here yesterday, and even though a lot of the tables were reserved, they managed to get us a table for 6. The 2 courses lunchtime offer was great value, and the Leek and Potato soup and warm crusty bread was delicious. The kiddies enjoyed their meals too. Lovely atmosphere, we shall be back! Hi Rosie,Thanks very much for leaving us the review of your recent visit to us.Great to hear your family enjoyed their meals with us and Iâll certainly pass on your comments to our chef about his homemade soup. Heâll be very pleased to hear you enjoyed it!Thanks again and we hope to see you all back again soon :)

Situated in the picturesque village of Twemlow Green The Yellow Broom is one of Cheshire's best known landmarks & treasured restaurant. Enjoying an idyllic, typically English setting this intriguing building is surrounded by lawns, beautiful secluded gard
We really enjoyed the good food and friendly, attentive service. All the food choices were very good quality and the presentation was of a high standard. However, we were very surprised that the prices on the menu did not include VAT, so the overall cost of the meal was an unpleasant surprise. In particular it meant that the Filet Mignon was nearly £40 which was disappointing for a relatively small piece of this special steak. The ribeye steak would be better value.Dear WestlowjackVery pleased that you enjoyed the food, ambience and your experience at The Yellow Broom. Our prices are all fully inclusive of VAT. Your Filet Mignon were charged at £29.95 as per our menu. However at the bottom of your final bill our system analysis the VAT content, not an additional charge as you have suggested in your review. We add nothing further to our listed prices, just a free mint humbug and of course a big smile.Look forward to welcoming you back soon for one of our excellent rib steaks.
