Open from 12pm daily. Lunch service is 12 - 5pm, dinner service 5pm until late. We have two bar areas to simply enjoy a drink. Planning a party? Come and look at our function suite!
Visited on a friday night with family. Unfortunately we left feeling disappointed. Food is not up to what it was. Quality seemed cheap. 3 out of four of us had dessert and were left disappointed. The brownie was dry and hard on top. The staff all seemed inexperienced and didnt seem to have a section each to focus on. Half the plates would be removed from the table and they wouldn't return to clear the rest for a long time. Alot of people seemed to be going to the bar themselves within the restaurant to order drinks. Good morning lexy, I'm sorry to hear that you left feeling this way. On friday we did have a number of new staff on the floor which was probably why you noticed a decline in our usual high standards, I can assure you that the employees at the laurels receive a great amount of training before and during their employment with us but we all have to start somewhere. As for our guests getting up to use the bar this was agreed with the parties that day as they all wanted to pay separately and this was the easiest way to work around this. We do hope you visit us again and rest assured we are building a great new team and I'm sure you will see a high standard once again.

Olde English Traditional Country PubHome cooked traditional English Pub DishesOpen fires - laid back atmosphere. All are welcome including well behaved dogs.
Called at lunchtime for a sandwich and was very disappointed with the food we received. Have eaten here many times and have always been happy with the food, especially the sandwiches which used to be served on lovely crispy bread, not an unbuttered barm cake. Will not be calling for lunch again.

A family run pub serving homemade Pub Classics, open from noon daily, serving food until 9pm Monday _ Saturday and 7.30 pm Sunday. Disabled facilities and a beer garden with parking available to the rear of the pub
Visited on a busy Thursday evening. A friendly local pub with houses nearby so be quiet as you leave! Good selection of reasonably priced meals & a good selection of beers. Servings are large and the chicken and mushroom stroganoff was well presented and pretty good. For dessert, I had to have the chocolate fudge cake which was pretty amazing.

We all cleared the plates ! Highly recommend this place ! A great choice on the menu and you get excellent portions . If anyone is rating this place as terrible they seriously need to get a life ! First time here, visiting on a Saturday afternoon. Only customers in the restaurant and can't understand why as it should be packed to the rafters when such beautiful food on offer. The reviews for this restaurant don't mislead, this place is fantastic and I agree 5 stars just don't seem enough.Excellent dining experience from start to finish, host explaining the menu in detail and sharing the ethos of the establishment with us which we believe to be much needed in this area.I had the duck gyoza and OH had the chicken skewers to start and we each had the belly pork and haggis croquettes for the main. The presentation of all dishes was amazing and my eyes rated five stars on sight of each dish. The taste buds were not disappointed when tasting the explosion of perfectly infused tastes of each dish.Finished off with simple albeit delightful and desserts again sating all senses and appetites and washed down with a glass of gin being one of an abundance of excellent type of ginsIf this restaurant was in a city centre you would need to book months in advance and pay treble the price, I just hope the good folk of Chorley and the surrounding areas get behind this venture/concept as if we don't use it we will lose it and be left with Wetherspoons et al.Plenty of parking and the only constructive criticisim was that the drinks service was a little slow although on the plus side this goes to show that the food really is the focus of the service. The decor is also really interesting with a nod to the abundance of effort made to ensure the acoustics and air quality are all designed in a way that aims optimise the overall dining experience. Thank you and see you soon

We are a friendly local cafe offering a range of healthy delicious food! We have plenty of vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options available.
Have noticed this cafe driving past for a while and kept meaning to visit. Today I called in and was amazed at how good the food is. Cafe is very clean and smart with a varied healthy menu. The Budha boxes looked very good and were very popular. I had the smashed avacado on sourdough toast with poached egg, bacon and mushrooms. It was very tasty and was well presented. The coffee is also very good here. There is something on the menu for everyone here and the prices are very reasonable. Service is also good with very pleasant staff. Will be visiting regularly in future. Thanks very Much Mike! We will look forward to your next visit.
