Went into Cruize Bar Brasserie after a swim in the leisure centre and found the service pretty slow, although friendly and the restaurant was not overly busy. The food served was ok.Dear Markeverett,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent visit to Cruize.I'm sorry to hear that your experience didn't match your expectations on this occasion, despite the friendly service. We chose this restaurant for lunch during our visit to the Isle of Arran based on TripAdvisor reviews. The menu choice was really imaginative and perfect for a casual lunch. We had garlic mushrooms and goats cheese on toast and Cullen Skink, both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

With its rustic-chic style, The Douglas Bistro has a refreshing simplicity but a serious intent. The cuisine is honest and straightforward in style, bold and hearty in flavour. No fussy preparation or pretentious artistry, just thoughtful and skillful use
I vowed I would never eat in this place again after a very bad experince 5 years ago but what a diference time makes. Huge refurb has turned the restaurant into a beautiful eating place, with well-trained staff and a well-constructed, well-cooked menu which is not overly p[riced (compared to some other establishments in Brodick).

We were at Arran Aromatics and looking for somewhere for lunch. We spied this place next door and the deal was sealed when people walked out with the most delicious smelling takeaway.Home cooked, wholesome food. Delicious soups and toasties. The traybakes looked to die for although we didn't get around to trying them. The shop was all decorated for Halloween.Nice to go to somewhere that isn't a chain and where the food is all homemade. The staff were happy to heat our baby meal for us and they had highchair too.

For a truly different dining experience in a relaxed and bustling atmosphere try Brambles Seafood + Grill. Have a drink at the bar, enjoy a frothy coffee by the fire or a glass of wine on the terrace. We only use free range chicken, 21 day hung beef and f
This was a good recommendation from a local. A very pleasant, nicely furnished and decorated room which offered us the distinct advantage that it was a dog friendly area of the restaurant. Notwithstanding that we were separated from the main restaurant, the service was attentive and the food and wines well received. We would definitely return to investigate the menu further. Dear BazSingapore,Thank you so much for sharing your feedback regarding your recent dining experience in Brambles Seafood and Grill. We are delighted to read how much you enjoyed the food, wines, ambience and our attentive service. Our team will be very happy to read your positive comments. Previously known and established as Fiddlers' by Arran local Dónal Boyle, Croftersâ has developed into a vibrant and friendly bistro which showcases the talent of local musicians and provides a platform for world class visiting artists from all over Scotl
My husband and I recently visited Arran and found ourselves in Crofters 2 out of the 3 days we were there - we went for lunch the first time and it was so delicious that we went back the next day (I particularly recommend the cullen skink - exactly what I needed after a brisk walk to Brodick Castle!). The atmosphere is really lovely and the staff were super friendly. All the food we tried was delicious and I would certainly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Our delicious menu uses fresh, local ingredients. Head Chef Jamie Mercer & his team prepare all dishes in house. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, in an idyllic setting. A warm family welcome awaits.

eighteen69 is Auchrannieâs Scottish tapas restaurant serving a wide range of small plates in a relaxed, informal environment. The restaurant is located in the glasshouse and lounges of the Country House Hotel. Customers are encouraged to choose and share
This restaurant is part of the Auchrannie estate and located in what is the original hotel. There has been a lot of money spent on the surroundings, both in this place and the two other restaurants on site. Eighteen69 offers smaller plates at good prices, there is enough to satisfy you and the flavours are good. The place is warm and welcoming and well appointed. Be aware that now we are into the winter season, it closes a couple of days during the week, something to be mindful of if you were thinking of eating here and are disappointed when you turn up. Well worth a visit though.Dear Duquesadiner,Thank you so much for your great review and lovely compliments on eighteen69 Restaurant. We are very happy indeed that you enjoyed the warm and welcoming ambience as well as the super tasty, small plate Scottish inspired dishes.Thank you again for sharing your feedback and we hope to see you back again soon!Kind regards,Carol AGuest Services Manager

We were staying at the nearby Auchrannie and fancied an early morning walk so headed to Little Rock, which opens reasonably early for breakfast. We had a fully cooked Scottish and a bagel, both were excellent, in fact too much food in the case of the full breakfast, but that is a good complaint. The staff are friendly and it is a comfortable place to eat. They also are pet friendly which I think is a good thing these days, especially on Arran.
