Reviews on British food in Bridgetown, Saint Michael Parish, Caribbean. Shopping is plentiful in Bridgetown. The capital of Barbados offers duty-free shopping at cruise ship terminals and upscale boutiques on Broad Street. Additional activities include yachting, fishing, viewing cricket matches and the nightlife on Baxter's Road. For history, visit the Barbados Museum, National Heroes Square (formerly Trafalgar Square) and the oldest Jewish synagogue in the western hemisphere, as well as the house where George Washington stayed and the church he attended.

Serving breakfast and lunch, lattes, cappuccinos and delicious smoothies..Try our full English breakfast..Yumm!!
Charged us 24 BD$ for 6 slices of toast which I can only describe as nothing short of daylight robbery - they had nothing else to offer us hence only option of toast, you may question why we did not ask the price prior to ordering - well, would you expect to pay the best part of £12 for a few bits of toast, neither would I - my wife out of courteousness paid the bill and we left. This a cautionary tale, this venue may have had lots of positive reviews but I am guessing having a refurb to pay for they have decided to charge their only income, us tourists, the earth. I will not be going back, poor form.

Soooooo everyone said come here for breakfast. We came. Arrived at 9am. Granted no reservation. We were sat at 9:17. Not bad. They took the order about 15 mins later. Itâs now 11:24 and of the 5 of us. Only two have received our meals. Ohhh and one of us didnât get cutleryIâm not sure if they are either understaffed or have too many tables to manage the rush but something has to give and today it was service. Service gave way under the pressure. At 11:25am. 2 more came. Still missing one. Bliss was honestly not blissful today.

Lovely old house. Unfortunately now it is off a main road behind other establishments, but the tea room itself overlooks lovely gardens. The tea rooms are airy. The owners are exceptionally friendly. The food is generous, home-made, and delicious.
