Family run pub restaurant tucked just behind the town hall. The menu has a variety of home made, locally sourced options ranging from light lunches through to main meals and sharing platters. There is always a minimum of 3 quality house ales available and
Went there for Sunday dinner with my Dad and sister, Dad had the gammon steak, sister had the roasted chicken I had the roast beef. Portions were very generous lots of fresh veg plus cauliflower/broccoli cheese bake that I want the recipe for. We thoroughly enjoyed our main course however the desert left a lot to be desired which is the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.

I used to come here regularly. First time for about three years I returned. The baguette wasn't cooked enough and the assembly of the baguette was sloppy. The meat was also poor quality. Quite a shame.

We are very lucky to have a small country pub in the Village of Hinton in the Hedges, near Brackley. We are ideally situated for stays at Silverstone and Bicester Village. For those of you that donât know us we are vegetarians so in addition to the meat a
All four had to be sent back. Either under cooked or lack of or under cooked. All had different meals. Wonât be backThis review is 9 months old! We have no idea who you are, what you ate, or even when. What is the point of this other than to be malicious? The one advantage for Business owners is we can track reviews, and so hopefully when you post your next review, they'll be able to see that this is a sheer waste of our time, and also the nature of your comments. I have asked for this review to be removed on the grounds that since your visit, the Management team, chefs and front of house team have all changed, and none of us have any idea if you even visited. We normally take a reasonable view of any negative feedback, and will always change any meal that isn't 100% right. This however is beyond response, beyond our control, and it's best left at that.

This is a hidden gem, we stayed here on our way down to Portsmouth for the night. Phil the owner is really friendly and helped us when we arrived. We are at the restaurant and enjoyed some of the real ales at the bar. They also had electric hookup for our motorhome for £5. Absolute bargain and would highly recommend this place.

I regret not having visited this cafe before because I've known about it for a long time. Attentive service (although I was the only one there to serve at the time). I had a traditional breakfast accomanied by a freshly squeezed orange juice. The orange juice was a bit pricey at £3 but it was whole pint and was deliciously fresh. I tried to get black pudding added but unfortunately they did not have any as their supply had failed. The main meal was well presented and ample for my needs.

Visited the Greyhound Inn with a couple of friends for dinner out and was not disappointed, the choice on the menu was varied and reasonably priced. We all went for different salads and all were excellent. I had the goats cheese salad and it was delicious, good size portion, great quality ingredients and tasted fab. Service was good and staff were polite, helpful and friendly, will definitely be eating here again very soon.

We popped in with our daughter whilst visiting the area. The staff dealt sensitively with a distressed young lady who could have caused issues for their other customers. Food was good and the place was busy with people of all ages.

Lovely, well run bistro with an interesting menu and excellent service. I had a cheese and tomato quiche with chips and coleslaw, the only problem I had was choosing which option to go for! Range of produce and wines to purchase and take home too, this place is well worth the trouble to seek out.
