Had to cancel previous booking due to illness, but turned up yesterday evening on the off chance. Friendly atmosphere and warm welcome the moment we arrived. Selection of dishes was good, especially for vegetarians, with choices prominently displayed on board, so didn't even have to ask if there were vegetarian options before seeing the menu. Landlord very attentive, although rushed off his feet. Quality of food first rate! Will definitely revisit. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Oh, and did I say the beer was good and prices very reasonable.

Had lunch here this weekend with family. We had eaten here before last year but there are new staff in recent weeks. The food was lovely, all home made and delicious. We will be back.

We are a cafe/restaurant and are located in a Grade 2 listed building which, for 18 years, was Bourne Registry Office. We have ground floor access with a wide front door easily able to accommodate an electric wheelchair. We also have a disabled toilet whi
Under £10 for the "biggest breakfast" which includes tea or coffee and is served on a huge rectangular plate. Quality ingredients from Hargreaves butcher in pinchbeck. Well presented. Good coffee. Friendly service. Nice location next to a lovely stream. Our only feedback would be that they could make far better use of this outside space and great location.Hello Cyclingbackpacker, thank you for your visit and taking the time to review your experience with us. We are pleased to see you were very happy with your breakfast and service.Regarding the outside space, it is a 'work in progress' and requires some investment before we can get it as we want but rest assured we will get there! Kind regards

1. I ordered the chargrilled chicken caesar salad. Chicken was NOT chargrilled. More like boiled. Also there was NO crispy bacon at all, as indicated on the menu. I suppose I should have spoken up, but my wife and daughter-in-law would have been mortified, so I kept quiet.2. Went to the bar for a second round of drinks during dinner. The person in front of me ordered 2 pints of something and was offered a tray to carry them on to their table. Don't know whether it was my American accent or what, but I ordered 2 pints and a glass of wine. A bit tricky to carry, but no carrying tray on offer for me. So rather than make a stink, I opted to carry all 3. Got as far as the outside patio, and was semi-covered in Coca Cola. So I put one glass down on the nearest empty table, carried 2 glasses to our table and then came back for the third.Based on 1. & 2. I am unsure I would go back, even though my son & daughter-in-law live locally.

Very expensive lunch. Vegetable soup that came & was Chicken soup, another in the party was something indiscribable because it had so much pepper in it. I would have expected more attention to service considering the cost. Very poor never to repeat the experience.

I am a fairly regular visitor. It is a very reliable good chip shop. Well prepared fish and plenty of choice. Very often a queue particularly Friday evenings but that is testimony to its popularity as a chip shop of choice in the area. Only criticism is that sometimes the portions are too large!

I came across this cafe by accident and was pleased to have found it. There was a friendly welcome, good vegetarian choice, good service, and a clean and tidy environment. The music theme (both in the cafe and toielt!) reflects the adjoining music shop and the background music being played was both pleasant and unobtrusive. I was pleased to see they use bread from an independent baker for their sandwiches, and their Turkish flatbread panini is the best panini I've ever had. I'm sure I'll make a return visit when visiting Bourne again.

Visited on a Friday evening with friends Service was good all night very attentive and professional. Some mains didnât come out together with a slight delay but thatâs a small detail. Food quality, especially that of the pizza was excellent and thought it was great value for money All in all a very good experience we will return
