A lovely little find in Queen's Court, plenty of variety in the menu and specials board, one if the nicest coffees I've ever had in a cafe/restaurant, service was spotless and friendly, food was delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot, clean cutlery, helpful staff, delicious home made cakes, lovely view of the woods, very very commendable. Would definitely recommend anyone to pay a visit,

One half of the family came from Manchester the other Leeds. There were major motorway problems which meant they were an hour late arriving. The owner was very sympathetic and kept our table open. The food was delicious had chicken on a crispy baguette. The rest of the family really enjoyed the food but even better was the hospitality. Thank you

The Brown Cow has been serving as a hostelry in Bingley for over 100 years. This family run pub, provides traditional & innovative home cooked food, individually selected wines and award winning cask conditioned ales from local breweries. All of this come
I haven't been here for a while but my visiting daughter fancied a meal in town. Can never underestimate how good the food is at this pub also indicated by how many people are eating at any given time.I had a very nice pan fried duck breast. Not something I normally see on a regular menu in a pub. My daughter and her partner had regular fish and chips which looked amazing. We all enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was good in the pub. The service was excellent and fuss free. We were allowed to remain unhurried after we had finished eating as we caught up on conversations. It was nice to see children and dogs in the pub. Many dogs just had to be made a fuss of. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. I have to wonder why I don't eat there more often as I never have any gripes about the food quality or the service.

A quiet evening with my daughter was spoilt when nothing I ordered was 'available' - ordered the pizza and prosecco deal - no longer on despite clear advertising. Sweet potato fries had to be ordered elsewhere - farcical. Barmaid didn't seem to know how to make the cocktails or what tonics were available - poor staff training.Hi fionad765, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are currently in the process of updating our blackboards however these should have been changed ready for the weekend. Arrived about 2 hours before closing. The cafe was nearly empty and staff were mopping the floor. My sister and I felt as though we were an inconvenience. We approached the counter and were told if we didn't want to take away, then to sit down and someone would take our order. Her tone wasn't particularly welcoming. We ordered 2 teas and 2 scones with jam and cream. The tea arrived with only one scone. This was warm, and with pots filled with butter, jam and clotted cream. My sister approached the counter to advise. The server then shouted across the cafe, did we want this with jam and cream too. It arrived cold and with 2 pots - one with a teaspoon of jam and the other with a similar amount of cream. Whilst there a lady came in with her grandson. She asked if they had a gingerbread man. She was told that they hadn't received their delivery. I believed that homemade was Tailormade treats USP. All in all a very disappointing experience and not one I will repeat. The youngest girl who was working was lovely and friendly. This was a Tuesday afternoon.

My wife and I are devotees of the steak night here on Tuesdays. Great value at £25 for a good bottle of wine and 2 x 8oz steaks, either sirloin or rump. Well presented and well cooked. The olives, too, were great value at £3 for a large bowl. Great service from Bethan and Georgina last night, and always a ready smile. Our only 'quibble' was nothing to do with the food or service. It was the 2 dog owners who allowed their 2 large dogs to lie sprawled across the floor. Anyone in a wheelchair could not have got past to go to the men's toilet. Why are dog owners so selfish and blind to others' needs? If dogs are allowed in pubs, surely their owners should respect human beings' space, ensure the highest level of hygiene and prevent their dogs from barking in an environment where people come to relax.

We booked the foundry for my Daughters 21st Birthday celebration, after a little confusion regarding the booking and the food the party was a huge success and the food was fantastic regarding quality, quantity and variety. In fact the new owners food menu doesnât do it justice . The owners couldnât do enough to make it any better and were continually asking and checking if all was ok. The room holds about 80 and you can utilise the public bar area as well, they have a fantastic range of Gins and I would highly recommend booking the private room for any event or party and would certainly recommend using their catering.

On a recent visit to Ilkley we wanted somewhere to stop for Sunday lunch and came across The Clevedon through TripAdvisor. The restaurant looked really nice but we were surprised when we got there to find it was part of a retirement village. The staff were all very friendly the menu was a set menu with carvery and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. All in all a very enjoyable experience was small issue is parking very few visitor spaces.
