As regular visitors to Ballymoney, we always make a point of popping into A Bite Above for lunch. The quality of the food is outstanding, hot and delicious. We love their Ulster Frys - always cooked to perfection and have a real home cooked flavour. The staff are to be commended for their attentiveness and friendliness. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Ballymoney for lunch - the fact that the restaurant is always jam packed is testament to the fantastic quality of the food.

We called in here as a hungry family after travelling the north coast, seeing Carrick-a-rede, the Giant's causeway, the dark hedges and some of the other dark hedges doors, one of which is in Gracehill House. There is a lovely bistro restaurant there so we decided to stay for dinner. What a brilliant dinner it was too and great value. Could not fault it! Friendly staff who stamped our dark hedges doors passport too. If you go to see dark hedges, go hungry and stop off here! We are already planning to go back next month!

A delightful, old-style cafe serving satisfying portions of well-prepared food to a loyal (mostly local) clientele - and the odd visitor like ourselves. The staff are very friendly and efficient. They have a comprehensive menu, including vegetarian options and kids, all at extremely competitive prices. A lovely place to visit while in Ballymoney and highly recommended.

This little cafe/restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is excellent here. The location is quiet and you’ll never have a problem parking. While I’m happy to give 5/5, it’s worth noting that seating is limited at times. You might not always get in, especially on a Saturday morning. On the few occasions I’ve been there, the moustached gentleman manager, who is clearly a very nice guy, also seems intent on explaining the specials menu to the Nth degree. The specials are already written on the board. In great detail. Just take the order. We know it’s going to be good!

We have eaten here twice in the past seven days. Well, when on holiday who wants to cook. We have visited Superbites on many occasions when we happen to be in this area, mostly in the summer months. They make beautiful chips and have a great selection of food on their menu. This evening we decided on the “brunch”. Chips, egg, bacon, sausage, beans, burger and vegetable roll. It was very tasty. Good food, friendly staff and the place is very clean. We have never been disappointed with the quality of the food here.

I have no idea why this place would have such good reviews?!?!?! The food was bland. The server couldn’t answer basic questions about the preparation of the food. The bread served with the soup was so hard it was like chewing on rocks. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. One can imagine that the kitchen is just as bad. AVOID!!!!!Hi Tanya Would be you able to contact us directly letting us know the time and date of your visit? Unfortunately we do not have any record of a compliant. We serve crusty bread with the soup and are sorry it was not to your liking. With regards to the bathrooms our only explanation is that with the beginning of high season and the road closure of the Dark Hedges, we are experiencing and unprecedented number of coach parties who unfortunate use the toilet facilities without much respect for our property. We realise we need to address this with the coach companies who allow their guests to use our facilities without spending a penny ( pardon the pun!)We do hope you get in touch.Kind Regards Belltower Team

We’ve been to the Scenic Inn on a number of occasions after recommendations from friends! Even though I got lost we eventually made it and it was well worth it!! ( Road signs from Ballycastle aren’t great to be honest) Service is excellent, the staff are amazing and so friendly. Nothing is too much bother. You know you’re home when your waitress lets your son borrow her phone so he can watch the Liverpool match. Thanks so much for that!! It made his week ⚽️The place is spotless, kids play area out the back is amazing. There’s so much choice on the menu, my favourite is the Pepper Chicken sizzler and the onion rings are to die for!!! Kids portions generous and great vegetarian options..We’re definitely going to be regulars now. It was our pleasure, we're lucky to have such great members of staff. We look forward to seeing you guys again soon
