Find out what Brew Pub restaurants to try in Punta Arenas. Overlooking the Strait of Magellan, this isolated city in southern Patagonia bustles with windswept trekkers en route to glacier-filled Torres del Paine National Park or an Antarctic cruise. Before transiting, take note of the mansion-lined main square, Plaza Muñoz Gamero; the City Cemetery, with its elaborate tombs; and the Sara Braun Palace and Braun Menendez Residence, a preserved slice of the city's wealthy pioneer past. Daily flights connect the city with Santiago and Ushuaia.

On our first night in Punta Arenas by the time we got to the hostel and freshened up it was close to midnight. Having just completed the W Trek we wanted to let loose a bit and have a drink or two and get some food. The very nice hostel owner thought for a bit and then directed us to this place. It was a Saturday night so all the young folks seem to be out and having a good time. Music is blasting and smiles all around. Took us awhile but we finally got a table and ordered drinks and pizza after some hand gestures and pointing (it was obvious that tourists are not as frequent here which is a good thing). We were there for probably 2hrs and the power cut off a few times, presumably due to the music (and all the speakers) blowing out the fuse. But the lively atmosphere didn't get dampened and we really enjoyed ourselves. This definitely helped us to reset the hiking mood and get into the city mode for the remainder of our trip!

The prelude to an unforgettable experience. Shackleton Bar & Coffee of the Jose Nogueira Hotel, a place for people who appreciate a varied list of drinks and snacks in a centenary salon. In August 1914, Sir Ernest Shackleton set out on board of the Endura
Nice interiors - leather chairs, fine woodwork and paintings related to Shackletonâs journey and visit to hotel. Got there at 6 pm hoping the place would be empty. So it was. There was no one in the Bar. However, various events (meetings and celebrations) were happening in the adjoining rooms. The barman was busy pouring wine and champagne in scores of glasses and waiters were rushing around and had no time to even look at me. After waiting for 15 minutes, I left. Sharing some of the paintings on the walls.

A nice place, warm, with a different proposal, perfect to share with friends, family, where you're going to find a lot of internacional cocktails, handcraft beers, and a large menu of wines, all coming from boutique vineyards. All of this, well complement
A very nice spot for dinner and have a few drinks Good and modern atmosphere, and food was very very good.Seafood pizza was amazing (can't remember the exact name on the menu, marinera or something similar)

Wandered in here while trying to kill some time in Punta Arenas. Cheerful and handsome wooden bar serving local cervezas (beer) with pop/dance music and sports shows on the background and pop art on the walls. Servers were cheerful and welcoming. They have wifi in the bar.
