Melilla (/məˈliːjə/ mə-LEE-yə; Spanish: [meˈliʎa], locally [meˈliʝa]; Arabic: مليلية, Maliliyyah; Berber languages: ⵎⵔⵉⵜⵙ, Mřič) is a Spanish autonomous city located on the north coast of Africa, sharing a border with Morocco, with an area of 12.3 km (4.7 sq mi). Melilla, along with Ceuta, is one of two permanently inhabited Spanish cities in mainland Africa. It was part of the Province of Málaga until 14 March 1995, when the city's Statute of Autonomy was passed.

Having just arrived on my motorbike from a weeks adventure I was looking for anything that wasn't a tagine. Amidst a plethora of pizza joints & McDonalds it looked like a good choice - and if was. I only had a monkfish kebab but if everything else on the menu is as tasty ( & I suspect it is) this is a great restaurant. Fish is the speciality but steaks are also served. The staff are very friendly & not pushy. It's very populalr with the well heeled locals. Try it.

I went to Juanito's last night, looking for a restaurant while in Melilla and came across this place. From the outset the service was very good. Patatas Bravas came before the menu, and the steak was superb. Having been full from my lovely meal, then came a house potato salad, and after being stuffed from that, they brought me a fish dish! All part of the experience, I came away not being able to eat anything else. A great place, very pleased to have stumbled across is and when in Melilla I'll definitely come back to it.

Lovely little tapas bar and restaurant on square with lots of outdoor seating. Visited on a busy sunny sunday lunchtime amd staff dud very well to keep up with all orders. Fried fish raciones was excellent- very fresh and reasonably priced. Sangria was lovely and refreshing.

Otro lugar de culto de Melilla, se aparta un poco de los pescados y maricos y va al producto ibérico de categorÃa, buenos vinos y entretenimiento. Su karaoke informal es famoso los viernes por la noche. No dejar de visitarlo.
