Find out what Brew Pub restaurants to try in Ercolano. Ercolano [erkoˈlaːno] is a town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Naples, Campania of Southern Italy. It lies at the western foot of Mount Vesuvius, on the Bay of Naples, just southeast of the city of Naples. The medieval town of Resina - read Resìna - was built on the volcanic material left by the eruption of Vesuvius (79 CE) that destroyed the ancient city of Herculaneum, from which the present name is derived. Ercolano is a resort and the starting point for excursions to the excavations of Herculaneum and for the ascent of Vesuvius by bus. The town also manufactures leather goods, buttons, glass, and the wine known as Lacryma Christi (Tears of Christ).

The food and the prices are great, but they can improve the location. Cause you have to buy the food on one side of the street and then go up to the stairs on the other side of the street to sit and eat.

Fab 'fritti' (fried veg and not only), fab veg (seasoned and 'just pan treated') there where vegetables and fruits grow in the volcano's soil Will surprise you, in a difficult environment as S.G. a Cremano, 10' off Ercolano. 'Scue' scue' spaghetto (fast fresh tomato sauce) not so outstanding, what at the contrary is the 'friittata di maccheroni'. At a very, very good rate.

Finalmente un pub gourmet.......nella nostra amata città .......Nulla togliere agli altri pub in zona.......ma io preferisco la qualità del cibo e Vittorio lo sposa a pieno. When you're lost in Ercolano as we where (what to do in Ercolano for a week when you're not visiting Herculaneum and Pompeii) this place gives you a really warm welcome to the locals and good food too! But please remind; it's a bar, so don't go for the Aperol Pritz and espresso with sambucca, but taste one of the great beers and spoil yourself with a very tasty hamburger, their service is excellent and they are happy to advice you even when you don't speak Italian! The place is not easy to find, just walk to the end of the map where TripAdvisor advices you to go. You have to go up a stair to reach the terras. They are open from about 20hrs, instead of 19hrs.Thank you Esme D,it was an honor for us to have had a pleasant evening. See you soonEmanuele

We discovered this great place thanks to the suggestion of our friends. The restaurant is linked to the Kbirr brewery, offering a wide original beers selection. But the other great point are the starters and the quality of meat! Big portions, tasty and unconventional flavours and a professional and friendly service! We came from Milan, where the same dinner would have had a price probably 3 times higher! Great dinner and experience, bravi!
