âSUPERB!âReviewed December 23, 2012 NEWMix of art gallery, decor objects, cultural center and cafe! The owners (two architects) are doing a great job managing this small house! A few number of tables in a very cozy place open until 9 PM offering a delicious coffee, unusual flavor caipirinhas (try ginger & passion fruit), assorted handmade salties and the best risottos in town. I confess I had a wonderful time there with my wife and daughter while enjoying an ice cold 'cava'! Service is perfect, prices according to what is offered. Good place for a happy hour with friends or just a break from the rush!

Little to say! I visited the restaurant twice in its original location in the suburbs of Teresina (Pirajá). Heard they have opened a new house in Fatima/ Jockey Club area. There is no much to order, they have mastered 'carne de sol' as no one else. The best I have ever tried, along with rice, manioc flour and vinaigrette sauce (also delicious). Prices are average. I am not very fond of 'carne de sol' but I must admit, they know what they are doing!

Although it has a good enviroment and a fair assistence, the food is not good, with a quite unpleseant taste, and the price is a huge rip-off. Definitely, I don't recommend.

Coco Bambu is a great seafood restaurant, they have lots of options. I ate there twice while I was in Teresina for work. Once I ordered a Tilapia fish with moustard sauce and a banana pie with ice cream for dessert. Another day I ordered another Tilapia fish with butter sauce and potatoes with a caramel brownie for dessert. They also have lots of local and different fruit juices.Everything was delicious. But beware, all the fishes are for two or three persons, so if you are alone you will end up eating a lot a wasting some food. Also, the price for one person is very expensive. The place is well decorated and very confortable.

Helmeted/ Tufted Guineafowl (capote/ galinha d'angola) dominates the decoration. It is also a tribute to the most known local specialty roasted or cooked. For a local like me, I tend to be very critical, simply because my mother is an expert on the subject. But, yes! The restaurant serves an excellent capote! And also country chicken, 'carne de sol', lamb, homemade sausage and a variety of local dishes. It is the place I would take any foreigner/ visitor/ tourist to appreciate local food. The house can accommodate many customers at the same time and orders can take some time (25-40 min), specially lunch time o weekends. This is also one of Favorito houses, traditionally a good atmosphere, prices above average. Most of the dishes can be shared with 2-3 persons, just check before ordering!

Escolhi o menu do almoço. A salada estava boa, mas podia ser um pouco maior. A carne e o risoto estavam ótimos. O melhor foi o bolo de aniversário. Ganhei um bolo delicioso com sorvete e parabéns com meu nome em chocolate. Foi 10! Recomendo e volto sempre que posso.
