Adolpho started decades ago grilling meat from a container at some corner in Manaus. Almost a romantic entrepreneurial past!Together with passion for serving and the quality of the picanha gave him quite a fame. He opened up several more restaurants. But scaling up is not the same as serving your clients yourself. It didnât bring him all he may wanted. But it showed him the way to go back to his origin. Not to the container but to just one restaurant. Where you can find him dedicated to be sure that all tables are well served and that his friendliness is offered by all his personal. Adolpho now is quite a large restaurant, a bit out of the main area but very good reachable. Serving now probably the best meat in town. Not only the traditional Brazilian meats. But a very interesting range of US and Argentinian meat. And even a Picanha Wagyo. Not all that cheap but well prepared. And with Adolpho circling the tables like hi did decades ago.

Nice restaurant with supposedly authentic dishes. Ordered a Amazonia Steak which turned out to be approx 100 Grams (since when did Brazil serve mini size steaks?) So requested a standard size. 15 seconds later they came with a slightly larger totally overcooked instead of medium rare.... after having declined this theyâve finally they got it right though probably the smallest steak in Brazil and not an exquisite piece of meat for that matter.Had expected better.

I realize people go here because they are within walking distance of the Caesar Business Hotel but it is really not a good place. At least it was not for us. We got something completely different from what we ordered and yet they did nothing. I realize that they don't speak any English or even Spanish which is a shame - English I can understand but Spanish? Really? Okay it's the Amazon fine but you can't charge the high prices they charge and not get your order right and then make you pay for their mistake. Just don't go unless you don't care about the price or the food.Hello,we regret that your experience has been so bad, your opinion is very important for our improvement and we will evaluate it so that it does not happen again.

Fitz Carraldo Bistro opens every day during breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering an casual environment and contemporary culinary, which blends international classics with exotic Amazonian ingredients. Just a few steps from the Opera House, inside a beaut
We ate at the restaurant twice, once for dinner and again for lunch, and both times the food was quite good and the service excellent. For dinner, we had a fresh salad sprinkled with roasted local nuts, very tasty, while I had the house burger (one of the best-made burgers I have had in Brazil). A few days later we returned for lunch, where I had a wonderful ceviche made with a local fish. Definitely one of the classiest places to eat in Manaus.

This was an elegant dining experience. We had deep fried tapioca and tambaqui ribs for appetizers. The flavors were delightful and new to me. The matrinchã roasted with plantain fillings and banana flour, wrapped in banana leaves was beautifully presented and tasty. It was a an unforgettable evening.

Four of us dined at Caxiri, and it was a lovely evening. The restaurant is located on the second floor with beautiful views of the lit up opera house. The four people in our group tried different dishes including local fish, duck, and a vegetarians dish. They were all very well prepared with generous portions. Many of the ingredients were new to us, and our server did an excellent job helping us understand. For dessert, we tried the churros with chocolate and dulce de elite. They had a local interpretation and were made of tapioca, which was delightful.

Outstanding restaurant with great dining atmosphere. This is the place to go if you like great steak. Meat cooked to your liking. Large portion with excellent price. Waiters and staff are very attentive to your needs. I highly suggest for anyone to visit this place if you're in the Manaus area.

It was crowded with upscale families and couples, and it was a Wednesday night, so that attests to its popularity. The staffers didn't speak much English, but they tried hard to please us. We shared #820 for 2 people~shrimp, diced tomatoes, cream cheese, milk rice surrounded by crunchy thin threads of fried cassava which never got mushy, all baked in a copper paella-type pan. Wonderful Argentine churros were hot and crispy and served with a delectable dulce de leche dipping sauce. There was a small band that played excellent bossa nova music.
