Haven't visited Nikolas' Dion restaurant since their move from Aalst-centre (Vrijheidsstraat) to their new location.Anyhow, at Dion's you probably will experience the finest Greek dishes you've tasted. Absolute top quality. And rely on owner Nikolas to assist you with the choice of a bottle of his many extraordinary Greek wines ! This restaurant is an absolute Delight !

We've been to this restaurant on several occasions with friends, family and business relations and each time we enjoyed a great meal.Using only fresh products presented in an attractive fashion, each dish is a pleasure to look at and consume.Service could be a wee bit faster, but what the hell, service is always with a smile and the atmosphere and environment are very relaxing, making every meal here into a special experience.Well done guys, we will be back ...

Our starter was some recommendable sort of local version of vitello tonnato a lot and the tasty meat was cooked as requested and served nicely. It was definitely reasonably priced for the quality of food, service and location - donât understand why some locals are so shocked about the pricing.

We waited almost an hour before we finally got our food. We had to ask 3 times only to be told that it's very busy in the kitchen. Their menu is quite basic, nothing that should have taken an hour to serve. The food was ok. Would I eat there again.....I don't think so because waiting almost one hour for a few croquettes and fries is simply bad service.

A permanent quality, fresh products, traditional cooking, efficient and friendly staff supervised by the ever friendly owner.Perfectly located on the central square of the city, with an outside terrace if the weather is fine, ideal to enjoy a good meal, the sun and the occasional people watching.Great place !

Mozart is a great restaurant where you can have spareribs (all you can eat) and more than just ribs. Great location with a friendly staff and a nice price.
These people know their business : polite and smiley service (VERY unusual in Belgium), great ribs (all you can eat), good bottle of wine and all of this in an absolutely beautiful old building that has been perfectly done up. Surprising to see this in a small city such as Aalst. You would expect this level of restaurant in trendy London. Eat here if you can.

Friendly staff, fine food and for a good price. What else do you want from a restaurant. Whatever the occassion, you'll find it here (unless of course you want an expensive gastronomic five-star diner)

We had a wonderful dinner here with friends on a Tuesday night. The building is beautiful, as is the restaurant so it was an impressive start. The service is exceptional and our welcome was very warm. We started with the house apero, a vermouth with champagne and red fruit cocktail, on the table was delicious dips and a crisp to enjoy while we were reading the menu. We all went for the 4 course month menu with wines: I'll let the my photographs do the talking but to add everything was amazing! One of the best meals I have ever had. It's not cheap but neither is it Michelin price, however the food is of Michelin quality imho. A great find, we will be back or sure.

Located in a commercial street of Aalst/Alost, the restaurant is not so attractive from outside. However, inside, the restaurant is modern and cosy. The service, nice and young, was efficient without any difficulty to provide explanation and take order in English. The food was excellent: inventive, original, tasty and superbly presented. A real master painting on the plate. We were here for a lunch and regret the lunch choice was rather, if not too, limited. For the aperitif, we were advised to take a drink based on a Gin produced in the region which we accepted. Surprisingly however, both we and the service forgot the ordered aperitif and the meal for served straightaway. Luckily, the aperitif was not billed either. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I wish good luck to the young team!
